In his time working with Liberty, he’d come to meet many talented individuals. Among them of course were his colleagues, but also his students.  Eunji was one of his earliest students while working a formal job as a vocal coach, and while he was ceaselessly proud of her career, her presence was quite missed.

So he was glad that Eunji was able to make it for a coffee outing. “So what exactly have I missed since you left? You seem to be everywhere, it’s hard to catch up with everything,” Ohkyung asked with a laugh.

it had been a while since youngmi and eunji had seen each other. there was no ill will between them -- youngmi understood completely why eunji had left liberty. she was a little surprised by eunji’s shift from singing to acting, but she supposed it made sense. some of eunji’s vocal parts in harmony’s older tracks had been shifted to youngmi, which. well, to say that was nerve-wracking would be an understatement. people already doubted her vocal abilities; comparing them to eunji’s would only make it worse. “how have you been?” she asked, genuinely curious. it wasn’t like she was asking because that was the polite thing to do. “i saw your last drama, by the way. you were great, as always.”
