Angel's Questions
Give me the first book that entered your mind when you read this: 'Recommend me a good book'.
Incarceron by Catherine Fisher.
What was the first book you ever read and the last one as of the moment?
My first book... Unfortunately, I can't remember a detail like that from all those years ago. Probably something written by Roald Dahl. Or a text book, if that counts. I'm reading 172 Hours on the Moon by Johan Harstad at the moment so it would be my last one so far.
Among all the the books you’ve read, what is that scene that you always think of?
Nothing I can remember. (Terrible answer, I know.)
Cliché but who’s your favorite character of all time?
As I've said before, I'm picky about favourites. I feel like someone more fascinating will come along in another book, so I never settle on one character.
What is that one book you think has ended the way you didn’t expect it to be? What would you suggest, if it's not better, the ending it deserves?
The Hunted by Alex Shearer. We read it for English in Year 9 and I took it home 'by accident' so I could be ahead of the class. I only remember vaguely what the ending was but it was surprising, in a good way in my opinion.
The book/s you wish to have film adaption/s?
I have too many! Incarceron, Hush Hush series by Becca Fitzpatrick (although I've only read the first one), Dark Life by Kat Falls... I pretty much want every book I've ever liked to have a film adaptation, just because.
How many books do you read in a year?
There are years when I don't read much and years when I do, so the numbers probably vary greatly, but I'm just going to say between eight to twelve.
What's an example of a must-read book?
Will Grayson, Will Grayson by David Levithan and John Green, mainly because of a quote from the Will Grayson created by David Levithan that was so relatable I cried.
