That Buddie kitchen fight was a little a rehash of the grocery store fight except this time was over groceries instead of in the grocery store.
"You wouldn't know because you're not around" sounds a lot like "You never asked what it was like."

Theory...
If Tommy was super hot and young, Buddies would have less of a problem with his character. Instead, he is a super hot, middle aged man with crow feet. I find that a hell of a lot more interesting than another generic twink.

Ravi's Roommate
For the BuckTommy Hiatus event: Week 1- home

When Ravi got home that evening, he walked into his house to find Buck standing in the kitchen, making the place look as if he should expect a full eight person party to arrive anytime soon. There had to be like… eight bowls on the counter, and three pots going on the stove.
“Um… Buck?” Ravi spoke up, catching Buck’s attention.
Buck turned around from where he was standing in front of the stove. “Oh, Hey Ravi!” he greeted. “Didn’t hear you come in.”
“Yeah,” Ravi nodded, his eyes once again bouncing between everything that was spread out around his kitchen. “Should I be… expecting anyone?”
“Huh? Oh no,” Buck said as he turned back to the stove. “I’m just meal prepping for the week.”
Oh yeah, that was a thing. Buck regularly took over half the fridge with his half prepared meals every week.
And as Ravi opened one of the cabinets looking for where he usually kept the glasses, he found his plates instead.
“Oh yeah,” Buck said. “I did a bit of rearranging of the kitchen, hope you don’t mind.”
Ravi didn’t mind, not really. But it was another thing on the long list of inconveniences he’d experienced with living with Evan Buckley.
A long list.
When Buck had mentioned the other week about not being able to find a good place after touring eight apartments, Ravi was feeling sorry for the man. None of them had had a good year this year, but from everything he and Buck had talked about over the last couple months, Buck especially had had a bad year.
If any of the three condos he owned around the city had been vacant, Ravi would have offered Buck a tour of one, maybe even given him a discount on the rent if it was out of Buck’s range, but they were all occupied.
It also seemed that now that Eddie was permanently coming back to LA, Buck wanted out of Eddie’s place fast. Ravi didn’t know what all had happened between the two since that first night Buck had taken him out to the bar and now, but he could tell it wasn’t exactly good.
So Buck had offered Buck the chance to move into Ravi’s spare room, temporarily. He made sure that Buck was aware this was only a temporary solution to give Buck time to find a place without rushing into things.
Buck couldn’t stop thanking Ravi for that entire afternoon.
The first week they had lived together had been alright. It seemed that even when they were off shift, they had very different schedules and their time in the house had rarely overlapped.
That thought was proved wrong over the last two days however.
Ravi had been living alone for the last two years, and he had come to realize (a bit too late) that he really liked having a living place to himself.
Really liked being able to watch TV in the living room at full volume until late in the night and not have to worry if he was keeping anyone up. Really liked being able to leave the house without anyone asking where he was going. Really liked being able to walk from the bathroom to his bedroom after a shower and not have to wrap a towel around himself. Really liked to just leave his laundry in the dryer until he had enough time to fold and put it away - without having to worry about someone else’s turn to use the machine.
But what could he do about it? Buck had still been going around looking at places - not having much success still. If ravi kicked Buck out now? Where would the man go? He was pretty sure if anyone else at the 118 had extra room, they would have offered. But Chimney had the new baby they were dealing with, Hen’s house was full with two kids, and he already knew what living with Eddie had put Buck.
Who else was there?
Ravi knew who - Tommy.
Ravi was pretty sure he was marginally successful in getting Buc and Tommy back together for at least one night. Maybe he could get them back together for good?
There was one big problem with this idea however. And that was that Ravi had no means of getting in contact with the older man.
Ravi had absolutely no idea where Tommy lived, so he couldn’t just go to the man’s house. He also didn’t have Tommy’s cell phone number, and he felt really weird about asking anyone on the team for it. How could he explain his reasoning without saying ‘I need to get Buck out of my house.’ He was pretty sure they had all warned him when he first gave Buck the offer of moving in anyway.
At one point it occurred to Ravi that maybe he shouldn’t be placing all of his eggs in the hope that Tommy would be willing to let Buck move in with him. If he remembered correctly from one of Buck’s drunk ramblings, the topic of moving in together is what broke them up in the first place. He also had no idea what Tommy’s living conditions were. If the man already had a roommate himself, well…
Just like finding Tommy sitting alone in the bar that one night, Ravi ran into the pilot by complete happenstance once again.
It was as he was going through the produce section in the grocery store, after telling Buck for the millionth time it was his turn to get the groceries this time. Ravi didn’t care what Buck said, he had horrible taste in bread and root vegetables.
Tommy was standing in front of the strawberry stand, examining the containers and trying to find the one with the least rotting fruits, and just like in the bar, Ravi recognized the man immediately.
Ravi turned his shopping cart and started walking towards the man. “Tommy,” he called out.
It took a second for Tommy to recognize him, obviously not as familiar with Ravi as Ravi was Tommy, but Ravi didn’t care about what Tommy thought of him, he cared about what Tommy thought of Buck. And from the little he could remember of the night of the lab and Bobby’s funeral, he was pretty sure Tommy still cared a great deal for Buck.
“Ravi,” Tommy said. “You were the guy at the bar, right?”
“Yeah,” Ravi nodded. “Say do you have a minute to talk?”
Tommy chuckled lightly. “You’re not going to drag me down an aisle where Buck is, are you?” he asked.
“No, at least not today.”

Two weeks later Buck walked up to him as Ravi was watching TV in the living room and handed him an envelope. “What’s this?” Ravi asked as he took it.
“It’s what I owe you for living here for a month,” Buck said. “And a little more to say thanks.”
“Thanks?” Ravi asked. “For what?”
“For… you know,” Buck said, looking in the corner of the room and shrugging his shoulders. “Anyway, just wanted to let you know I’ll be moving out this weekend.”
Ravi paused as he was about to open the envelope and look inside. “Moving out?” he said.
“Yeah,” Buck nodded as his head turned back towards Ravi. “I could tell you were kind of growing annoyed with me, even though you’ve been trying to hide it. And me and Tommy well… we’re a thing again. But we’re keeping it on the downlow, so try not to tell anyone.”
“Yeah,” Ravi nodded. “That’s… That’s no problem.”
Ravi opened the envelope and was surprised to find a large wad of cash inside. He counted the dollar bills, his eyes widening into saucers as he did so. Buck was just walking around with all this cash? “How much do you think my mortgage is?” he asked Buck. This was easily three times his monthly payment for the entire house.
Buck shrugged. “I don’t know how much mortgages are,” he said. “I’ve always rented.”
I just had a thought what if Eddie comes out to Buck but doesn't confess his feeling because he just assumes it implied but what he does do is invite Buck out to dinner only Buck doesn't realise its a date cus they go out together all the time. So then we get a mirror of Bucks coming out only it's Eddie being like 'it was a date Buck, when we were out to dinner the other night it was a date' and Bucks just stood there with the dial up tone going through his head cus it wasn't any different then anything else they do. Sure Eddie pulled out his chair but that not that weird and they hugged goodbye after and Eddie did kind of linger but it definitely wasn't their longest hug right?
