Dustin the Bard would absolutely have the easiest time making El laugh. He'd just do some silly flourishes with his arms, pull El in to dance, make her spin and follow his movements and El would have loads of fun. She'd be beaming the entire time, and it would be so easy to spend time with him because he understands her, even though she's not Lady Jane.
And Dustin would see this guy, dressed in over-the-top clothes, having his exact face, making El laugh with such ease and being so familiar with his touches and he'd be fuming internally. Of course he's jealous, but no one can know, so he just tries (and fails and everyone can tell something's wrong) to push it down and discreetly pull El away from the Bard at every chance.
