I don’t know much about Lex Luthor, but I do think that what I DO know of him (about him building his career from nothing, being innately talented n wtv) I think he and Bruce would have been friends.

Luthor was talented, but he was poor (iirc) this gave him the drive he needed to become successful, to prove people wrong about his status and his character.

Bruce grew up in Gotham, wealthy of course and not having the traditional struggles of a poor person, but it’s fucking GOTHAM, that comes with its own problems. Bruce’s parents were murdered in front of him, exposing him personally to the crime in Gotham and also motivating him to make the city better (not to say he wouldn’t want to better Gotham if his parents lived)

I believe that these two different but equal goals would make them friends or begrudgingly respectful.

Luthor would respect the genuine care that Wayne has for his city and his desire to make it better, and Bruce would admire Alex’s dedication and intelligence.

also something about house bullying chase nonstop in kids, and then completely laying off him after that. he still picks on chase, of course -- house picks on everyone -- but the specific vogler punishment aspect tapers off; chase is no longer given menial tasks and not allowed to take breaks.

and it was a retcon, because it wasn't alluded to in s1 or s2 until after the fact, but: according to stacy, rowan chase dies the week after kids aired. and house knew immediately. and house was angry at chase for screwing up, but where in control he nearly fired chase, with kayla he... doesn't. house goes from bullying chase for vogler to laying off him for months. from wanting to fire chase to allowing chase to make his own decision about his career. rowan dies, and house lays off.

and also something about birthmarks. chase immediately understanding that house is upset about his own father's death, even if he hated him, even if he's also glad on some level. house, backing off chase and giving him space and grace for rowan in s1. house knowing chase hated rowan but is still mourning him; chase knowing house felt the same way.
