so while i was struggling with my creative block, i was trying out new hobbies to fill the void and i decided to try out crochet

"What are you doing y/n?"

Law sounded a little irritated as dragged him by the sleeve. He had been holed up in his office for a couple of days now. You had managed to get him to sleep once, only because he had been so tired that it only took you a little effort.

Getting him to lie in bed was the easy part, taking off his hat and playing with his soft fluffy locks the fun part. He was too tired to protest and had fallen asleep almost instantly.

The blatant disregard Law had for his own health was something that worried you. You knew he would never truly wander into dangerous territory, but he definitely tiptoed on the line too often for you to be comfortable.

So you had taken it upon you to make sure he slept every once in a while (success), he ate every once in a while (mild success, sometimes you'd pick up a plate only to see it had been untouched), and to make sure he got some fresh air outside (work in progress).

When you had finally dragged him outside where he could get some rare fresh air, he looked at you with an eyebrow raised, not really impressed by your attempt to get him acquainted with the outside world when it wasn't necessary.

"Really y/n?" "Law you hadn't seen the sun in days, yes, really."

He rolled his eyes, took a dramatic deep breath to show you that, yes, he was enjoying the freshness of outside, before turning around, a devilish grin on his face.

"Payback time"

Ah the constant struggle of trying to figure out if I actually want to do any given thing that sounds nice to learn how to do or if I’m just ridiculously over-romanticizing it because I feel like a fucking failure at everything I’ve done and can’t feel like a failure at shit I never actually try.
