Wake Up Little Girl | Lavinia and Charlie
She woke up, but had no idea where she was. She didn’t recoginze this bed or these walls. She sat up like a shot and looked around. Not again, please God not again, her inner voice begged as she looked around for any evidence that she had been back. Lavinia breathed for only a moment, before bolting from the bed. Who was this person in the room with her? Where was she? What was going on?
She always got scared when this happened. She didn’t know what she had done or where she had been but she did know what she was capable of. She ran out the door, panic rushing through her and tears down her face. Had she hurt someone again? Had she done something she couldn’t take back!? It was all so much and -thud-
“Oh god...I’m sorry,” she said sniffling against the body she’d collided with on the path that seemed to lead to a lot of little buildings just like hers. “Charlie!?” She gasped as she finally focused on the figure she collided with, all but jumping into his arms as she let a few more tears roll down her face. “Thank God someone I know,” she muttered into his shoulder.
