So I chose Mc's childhood samurai friend ( forgot his name...oops ) ..... Mc ends up going to an audition for nobunaga's wife, it wasn't a choice she chose. She ended up going thinking she wouldn't be chosen anyway and that she could use this as an excuse for a trip.

Mc wanted to meet her childhood friend who apparently works for nobunaga himself!!

Well...things didn't go her way and she ended up pleasing nobunaga, therefore this scene where she's chosen as one of the contestants for potential wife material and this is her next test, which is to sleep with him🤣

Like bruh!! Nobunaga!!! My guy 😂 why do you wanna sleep with them all!!!???

Ofcourse this made her childhood friend jealous sooo welp things gonna take a sexy turn! 🌝

Official Business Announcement

"Alright everyone, because Joey doesn't have a secretary he's having me do this nonsense..."

He clears his throat and speaks clearly for all the studio to hear.

"Joey Drew is doing a special event tomorrow, at Noon. But for the sake of preparation, he's assigned me to go around and survey the staff on general opinion. So, if you have any questions for Joey, or heard any rumors about him, please report to me. He will be answering questions, but he said he'd like to make a general statement and cover some bases."

"Just... write down a memo and label it "For Joey:" and I'll add it to the list that will be turned in tonight. Just leave it on my desk."

(OOC: this is the perfect chance to go "is it true that" or "I heard that", or to turn in any fun headcanons about Joey!)

Shade stepped into his house from the shadows, small statue nestled into his arms.

Placing the statue down on the kitchen table, he took a step back. Admiring the hand carved work and seven set gemstones. A white one circled by the rainbow, save indigo.

"Not bad, if I do say so myself. It could look nice in the bedroom. Don't you think Smudge?"

"It would look nice in the office too."

"It would. I suppose it depends on how the light hits it."

With a quick pull of the blinds, sunlight filtered into the room. A beam of light hitting the statue. Shade took another step back, contemplating the choices. Turning away, he didn't notice the white gemstone in the center start to glow. Only when he turned back did he notice.

Moments too late.

A small beam of light hit Shade directly in the chest. He stumbled and tripped. As he fell, all the black on him drained, splitting into six colors and shooting in all directions. Within moments one Shade had turned into six brightly colored Shades.

Smudge sat on top of the refrigerator, looking at the mess of dazed Shades in the kitchen.

The Rainbow Connection

I’ve never been one to celebrate New Years, especially after getting my powers.

But there’s just something about seeing the fireworks over Opal City that warms my black heart.

Shade blew out the smoke from his mouth.

“You shouldn’t smoke.”

“I shouldn’t do a lot of things. Like crime. But here I am, an established criminal.”

Batgirl let out a huff.

“I should bring you in.”

“You should. But you wont.”

“Oh won’t I?”

“No.”

Silence fell between the two. A comfortable silence, as if the conversation was simply an inside joke between friends.

“Don’t you have a family to get back to?”

“Don’t you Shade?”

“No.”

“No?”

“No.”

“Well then,” Batgirl snuggled farther under the blanket in front of the fire, “I don’t have anywhere to go for a few hours either.”

“…I have eggnog?”

“I didn’t know you were so festive.”

“I drink it in the summer too.”

“You drink eggnog in the summer?”

“And spring, and autumn.”

“Why?”

“Why not?”

“You can’t justify your life with why not.”

“Yes I can. Otherwise I wouldn’t be friends with a hero.”

He didn’t know the man that well. Not really. All he knew was that he ran a perfume shop and was pleasant enough to be around.

Perhaps he was going soft in his old age. But when he saw the man struggling in the snow storm that had crept up on the streets of Gotham, he was acting before he knew he was.

In the blink of an eye the two were standing in the man’s perfume shop.

“You could tell a person when you do that.”

Shade quirked an eyebrow at the man. Yes, he often forgot that most people didn’t deal with ridiculous scenarios like hell or super villains. 

Without warning Shade dropped a large stack of twenties onto the counter.

“Merry Christmas. Buy yourself something nice.”

And Shade bet the man would. Considering that was a thousand dollars.

❄ ~Triple Point

Shade let out a content sigh as he settled into the couch. He had done a lot of walking that day. Christmas wasn’t for another week and people were already going insane.

Not that he could really blame them. He remembered his wife making her special cake for Christmas day. Now that was something to get excited about.

The exhaustion of the day crept up on him and before he realized it, he had drifted off to sleep resting on the couch.

Hours later he awoke to the clink of glass. Looking down, the tea he had made had been drunk and the cookies he was planning to eat where gone. In their place was a small present.

And out of the corner of his eye he caught the door solidifying.

❄ ~Cogs

Dragging himself through the snow was not how he wanted to spend his evening. He had gotten a call from Cogs, something about being stuck in a cave. Or something. She had, like usual, rambled about her situation, and with the interference of the storm, it was hard to hear.

He pushed forward until he saw the opening of the cave. Oh how he wished he could have just materialized in. But she had clearly stated, several times, that the ground was unstable.

He stepped into the cave and was met with the welcoming warmth of a fire and the smell of hot coco.

“Shade! You made it! Sorry for not telling you about the whole surprise, but then it really wouldn’t be a surprise. I mean, I’m not that good at lying but I remembered you said you weren’t really a crowd a person and you must get lonely on Christmas so I decided to set something up for you! And-”

Shade interrupted her by putting a finger full of whip cream on her nose.
