With claims just under a month away, we are releasing our Billy Big Bang Mini-Event Schedule! These prompts are open to anyone who wants to participate, just make sure to tag @billybigbang when posting and there are AO3 sub-collections for the mini-events if you are interested in posting there as well. The minimum requirements for the prompts would be 100 words or a basic lineart sketch or equivalent, and you are free to pick and choose which mini-events you'd like to create for!
As a reminder, sign-ups for the Billy Big Bang remain open for artists until July 6th if you are interested in participating in the larger event (schedule below the cut)! Artist and author pinch-hitter roles remain open indefinitely.

FAQ
I’ve been getting a couple questions lately so I just wanted to clear some things up.
Q: This event is called aph asia week, so why is it 10 days?
A: With the addition of many new Asian characters, we wanted to represent more lesser known countries and encourage content for underrated characters but didn’t change the event name.
Q: Who can I create content for? Can I only create content for a particular nation on their designated day?
A: Yes. You can make content for any Asian nation at any time during the event. If you want to spend the whole week making content of your Asian OC, be my guest! If you want to make content of Thailand for the whole week, even though he’s the prompt for just one day, feel free! As long as you include an Asian nation in your content, you can do whatever you want at any point during the event.
Q: I won’t be able to submit my work on the day it’s for! Can I still submit it?
A: Yes. I will reblog any content for the event no matter what day it’s for. I will also reblog late submissions 1-2 weeks after the event has ended.
Q: Can I combine prompts from different days?
A: Yes. You may use as many or as few prompts as you want. Ex. you could combine a theme from day 1 with the quote from day 2 and write about your OC instead of using the nation prompt; you could just choose the nation from day 4 and make art about them without using other prompts; anything works, as long as content is for an Asian hetalia character (canon or not).
Q: For the days that have multiple characters as prompts, do I need to make content including all of them?
A: No. As stated previously, you can make content of any Asian nation you want for any day of the event. You do not have to follow the nation prompts, and you don’t need to include all the nations for a particular day. The reason there are days with multiple characters is because there are too many canon Asian characters to fit into 7 days if I give each their own prompt day.
Q: What sort of content is allowed?
A: Any—writing, art, cosplay, aesthetics, edits, headcanons; anything goes.
Q: Can I make more than one piece of content for the same prompt/day?
A: Yes; multiple entries are totally fine.
Q: Do I have to make content for every day of the event?
A: No. You can participate for only one day or just choose a few you’d really like to do.
If you have a question, send an ask! We’ll get to it as soon as possible.
Prompt Submissions & Discord
So, we can see that you’re interested. Right now, we will be taking prompt submissions through asks. Send in any ideas you would like to see in the prompts and we’ll sort and add to the poll those we think will fit!
Ideas we’ll be looking for include:
- single word prompts (for both art/writing, or any ideas you find)
- sentence prompts (Quotes, references, be sure to add the source as well)
- trope prompts (such as aus, time travel, dimension travel, ect.)
For the Event Dates, we will be taking suggestions on when to hold the event. The dates in question are currently around the end of August or beginning of September. The tentative dates will also be voted on in the poll.
Keep in mind that, while the prompts will be there to help those that want to use them, they are also not mandatory. You can create anything you want for this event! We have also created a rules page as well!
If you would like, we will also be discussing things and taking submissions through our fan discord! This discord is a place for anyone interested in talking or wants to discuss ideas with fellow fans!
