Sukka Week 2023 Prompts are Here!

There were so many great prompts; thank you everyone for submitting ideas and voting! There were also a lot of ties, so I took some liberties and combined prompts with a similar vibe to make room for all the top votes. Does this mean we technically have like 17 prompts for Sukka Week 2023? Yes, and I am not sorry about it.

And if that wasn't enough, I threw in some wild cards! Because we do have some repeats of prompts from prior Sukka Weeks, I grabbed a few of my favorites from this year's submissions and threw them into the mix, along with a handful of other ideas I had. These are freebies: feel free to use them on any day of the event if that day's prompts don't jibe with you. Or you can ignore them entirely! I hope this will give everyone plenty of fun stuff to choose from.

How late do you accept submissions?

Hi, thanks for the question!

I'll be keeping a close eye on this blog for any late submissions for the next 3 weeks (until Nov 11th/12th). You could still submit something after that date, I just might be a little more delayed in terms of reblogging by that point. But late submissions are always welcome! We'd love to see what you're working on whenever it's ready!

And she's pretty sure that this is what it meant to be in love with someone:

it meant two people riding on a bike built for one. suki in the front, sokka behind her with his feet on the spokes and his hands gripping her shoulders. the wind whipping their hair and their wild laughs being carried behind them.

it meant nights half asleep on sokka's bed as he studied for some future test with the moon peaking through the curtains and suki's phone playing her ‘retro chill music’ playlist.

it meant afternoons spent at the skatepark doing their best to master trick moves in order to Impress each other.

it meant carrying sokka on her back or sokka carrying her on his back, and kissing all the way home.
