Let me tell you about one of the best fan fiction I’ve read. It’s got medieval knights, arranged marriage, miscommunication, slow burn, and mutual pining!!

It’s honestly one of the best things I’ve ever read. Twenty year old Dean is married of to a 13 year old Castiel as part of a treaty between their two kingdoms. Dean is very disturbed by this and secretly fakes consumating their marriage on their wedding night, instead he promises to take care of Castiel. This is a slowww burn be prepared, but because Cas starts off as a literal child it’s a good thing. I think why I loved this was because it derived from the stereotypical abo fics where they meet and automatically know they’re the one, don’t get me wrong I love them but in this story we get to see both Dean and Cas grow up and come to terms with what feelings come along with growing up. Cas also starts off very naive, such as not knowing what happens on a wedding night. This to me wasn’t an issue because I enjoyed him discovering this through his curiosity as we all discover when we grow up. Ugh honestly don’t even have words to describe how much I love this but seriously go read this the full story is up now!
