Fab words from Simply Be model Tara Lynn.
Got a body? Some sunscreen? Congratulations! You are ready to hit the beach. #everybodysready
Every body is beach body ready.
We’re making a stand against Protein World’s body shaming ad campaign.

Our #SimplyBekini campaign is all about showing you there is more than one way to have a bikini body. So we had to make a stand against Protein World's body shaming ads. We say: Every Body is Beach Body Ready! Read more on our blog.
Bad PR for Protein World this week who placed adverts across the tube network asking commuters “are you beach body ready?”
These adverts have caused uproar from the public, with many complaining that the campaign promotes negative body issues.
So far the Advertising Standards Agency has received over 200 complaints, but there is more. A mass demonstration called “taking back the beach” is being planned in Hyde Park on Saturday in protest. Others angered by the ad have shared the picture, using the hashtag #everybodysready, or defacing posters.
How DARE a fitness company promote fitness in their advertisements? Don’t they realise you can be FAT and FIT? You know what I’ll do? I’ll go into town, and rip up and vandalise their expensive posters, and post pictures to Twitter under my real name to show how angry I am! Damn misogynists, promoting fitness! This is obviously about objectifying women, and nothing to do with exercise or health! How DARE they!
Beach Body Ready?
I have been seeing a lot of posts saying everybody's ready (in response to an ad asking if women's bodies are beach ready). Well maybe not. Do you have sunscreen on? No? Then you are NOT beach body ready! Apply sunscreen and then you will be. Simple as that! So everybody's ready...once they put on SPF 15 (at least).
