Doesn't she look like an angel? 3 years ago I discovered this show. At first, I was reticent to watch it: the description wasn't especial at all and the picture Netflix chose to represent it was totally random. But it kept appearing as a suggestion for me over and over again for several months so I surrendered. Best. Decision. Ever. At an age I thought my hobbies and passions were quiet and not as strong as they once were, this show proved me I was wrong and I know nothing (while Phryne Fisher knows everything, of course). Since that moment, I allowed myself to fall down the rabbit hole. Now, I couldn't be more in love with Phryne and Jack but also with this show that allowed me to meet the most extraordinary set of ladies who teach me, guide me, entertain me and inspire me every day of my life, just like Phryne does. Congratulations Every Cloud Productions and Fiona Eagger!

Just received an e-alert from Every Cloud Productions stating that they, along with 7 other companies, will receive $2.7 million Film Victoria’s Screen Business Ventures funding over the next three years to “implement specific strategies which will increase the company’s growth and output capacity…the funds will be used to grow our international market presence, ensure financial resilience and most importantly, showcase Australian talent to the world.”

In addition, company CEO Fiona Eagger is one of 5 recipients of the 2017 Film Victoria-Natalie Miller Fellowship Women in Leadership Development Initiative and will “engage in the tailored development opportunity to build her leadership skills and professional expertise.”

While congratulating EC and Fiona for their accomplishments, I can’t help but feel more optimistic about the future of MFMM movie/S4. Key words like company growth, international market presence, financial resilience, leadership skills, and professional expertise are all effective tools when promoting and marketing a project. I just hope that they won’t end up being too busy with other projects and have to put Miss Fisher on the back burner. Fingers crossed.
