Fruit/chocolate smoothie under 250 calories
I just got a single serving blender so I have been trying out some smoothie combinations. I think I have found the perfect recipe! These are great if I need a quick to-go breakfast or right before the gym snack to hold me over until dinner. The hint of chocolate gives it a nice taste with 12 grams of protein from the powder.
1 cup of Almond Breeze Unsweetened Almond Milk (30 calories)
1 small to medium size banana (~80-100 calories)
1 cup of Mixed berries (I use part of a frozen bag from Target Market Pantry; it has strawberries,blueberries and blackberries.) (70 calories)
A little more than half a scoop of 100% Whey Protein Chocolate Powder (66 calories)
Optional: a few ice cubes
Total of about ~246 calories.
