Today’s class kicked my ass! We pushed the sled and he put 70 pounds on each side for me!! We did ropes, we did crab crawls, we did weights and more. Omg dying but i feel sooo good and happy! And burned 458 cals! So mission accomplished!!! Workout done!! I hadn’t been to the gym in over a week cause i was in Boston visiting my brother with no access to a gym then i had a couple of work days that went too late and didn’t make it possible. I was LEGIT nervous about being back and was sooo tired i felt my psyche wanting to bag it and say screw it I’ll make it there tomorrow. So i can see how easyyy it is to slide out of the routine and motivation and go back to your old ways. Thankfully i found some inner strength and fortitude and made it in! 70 min knocked out! Proud of me and happy to be back at it! Tomorrow night I’ll do it too and Saturday i have my class and Sunday I’ll get it in too! Making my health and sexiness a priority!! Workout done!! I appreciated that my trainer eased us into the week with today’s workout. I was super nervous cause I’d missed a few classes but it was and challenging and only CRAZY tough at the end. Sweated! Burned like 300 cals just in that class for a current total of 2,662 cals burned. I’m happy with it! Workout done!! Not the happiest because i had to miss my fav workout high intensity class tonight and bummed that i was only able to get a half hour in but fuck it. It’s what i could do and at LEAST i got it in instead of completely saying screw it because i didn’t have my FULL hour or was tired. I did what i could and tomorrow is another day. Workout done!! Great class. Defff kicked my ass hard.... was dying. Also helped me emotionally because I had THE scariest road rage incident ever right before my class. Was so frightening that I’m actually gonna go to the police in a few and report it. But thankfully my class and classmates helped get my mind off of it and clear my mind. Today’s class was sooo much better for me! I loved it! I didn’t feel called out, i was able to do what i could and it was okay when i couldn’t... the instructor understood and let me be which i sooo appreciated I’m sooo happy and relieved cause now I’m gonna keep going to the classes! Felt frustrated with myself cause I only did 40 min today. But then i said to myself.... you have a TERRIBLE headache.... you only slept 4 or 5 hours and body woke you at 5am, you have worked out EVERY single day this week except one AND worked 4 days so almost a full work week at a new job, you’re getting less sleep and are clearly exhausted and run down. It’s OKAY to cut yourself and your workout some slack on days when you need it. As long as A: you get A workout IN it’s okay if it’s not as long as you USUALLY go for.... and b: you recognize those days when you need a break so you can go harder on the days when you DONT need one and are recharged a bit. I’m very very hard on myself when it comes to the gym because I’m terrified of ever going back there AND of not hitting my goal. But I have to remind myself I’m doing WHAT I can and that’s all I can ask of my body and myself. Im NOT gonna be able to go crazy hard 7 days a week every day all day.... that’s just not realistic. I gotta be more realistic and do the best I can. The rest is up to my body to do it’s thing and god lol Workout done!!
