Fandom: *sees chracters best friend who is really close to said character*

Media: *enforces the strait relationship*

Fandom: *introduces a new ship with characters best friend* *enforces relationship with fanart and fanfics*

Media: but they’re strait can’t you see!

Fandom: you looked but you did not observe. Can’t you see he’s obviously gay

Media: how I’ve given no indication that there not strait.

Fandom: BUT OH YOU HAVE!! *procedes to pull out a large list naming the times the character talked to his bff* ITS GAY AND YOU CANT DENY IT!’
