Please Help a disabled Enby and their elderly disabled mother survive the winter while Homeless.
Remaking for February, same sitch, new Month.
I'm Casi, I'm a disabled enby who is the sole caregiver for my elderly disabled mother. We are Homeless, and staying in a hotel because it is the safest option for us. There are literally no shelters anywhere accessible, we have no family that could put us up, and the county sheriffs will arrest you if they find you on the streets or camping in the desert. We dont even have a car to live in. We have no transportation and no other options.
Mom has chronic bronchitis and severe arthritis and has difficulty breathing and walking, I have chronic pain and autoimmune issues.
Currently Moms SSI is our only stable income, and it only goes so far, I do sell my art and am looking for stable work but, so far not much luck on either front really.
The room costs $72 a night, $557 a week.
Literally anything that anyone could spare to help us is so incredibly appreciated, even $1 helps, a reblog especially helps because the more people who see this the more likely someone who can afford to help us will see it.
Right now we've got the room paid for until the 7th, and moms second check comes in tonight, which should cover another week. I'll update on the 7th when I know how far Moms second check will cover.

Help a refugee escape transphobic toxic household & reunite with fiance.
Nasser lives in Ireland. Helena lives in Brazil. They first met o… Helena T needs your support for Help Nasser escape transphobia and reunit
On the 30th of May just as I bid my fiance @lofilesbo farewell at the airport, my mother violated my privacy and searched through all my belongings. She threw out many personal items, my HRT and is forcing me to detransition entirely. Despite being employed (paid minimum wage), my hours are very limited and unpredictable. Regardless, my mother decided to make me pay 200£ for the privilege of sleeping on the living room floor of her cramped apartment. All this under threat of being kicked out unlawfully if I break her tyrannical rules.
Currently I am biding my time to try to save up to move to Brazil for good, but can not do it on our own and we need help. Every dollar counts!
OUPPY NEED CAR
Hello, I'm Saint! I'm a butch biracial trans man. You might know me from moody mediocre gay poetry, real life organizing or chilling on your couch with a cold one, or maybe you know me from tumblr discourse about whether trans men should be treated like human beings or not (I vote yes).
My hobbies include paying my rent, barking at the mail-man, longingly gazing at my driver's license, getting shoved around on public transit, howling at the moon, and begging people to let me work.
While I was begging for work, I got the chance to join the cement mason union. This would be a major win for any poverty stricken transgender dog, such as myself. They have an opening in April.
The issue is, Ouppy Need Car. You see, a car is needed to drive to the union hall where you get dispatched to a work site, you then need to drive to that worksite with your tools in your car. These worksites are typically nowhere near a bus stop, and even if the nearest bus stop wasn't an hour's walk away, the time that you have to be on a construction site is so early that even if you catch the earliest bus, after the three hour bus ride (that could have been a 45 min car drive), you'd be so late that they would fire you on the spot.
Currently, I am working only covers. That means, when someone calls out at the cafe I used to work at, the owner will give me that shift to work. Which means I make between zero and 6 hours a week right now. That is not enough to pay my rent and it's certainly not enough to put money aside for a car. I'm living in the red, with a bank account that is nearly always in the negatives. This job would change my life and allow me to help others in turn.
If you can please donate to my spotfund.
I know times are rough for everyone right now, so if you can't donate, please consider sharing this post.

MY PERSONAL STORY AS A TRANSGENDER REFUGEE:
🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️
Hello everyone! I'm Vivian [legal name is Abola], a transgender woman refugee, currently living in Gorom refugee camp in South Sudan with other LGBTQ refugees and asylum seekers from Uganda, DRC, Rwanda, Burundi, and Ethiopia. All of us were previously residing in Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya. 🌈
When I first came out as a queer person in my home country, Uganda, I faced a lot of discrimination, arbitrary arrests and assaults not only from law enforcement officers but also from members in my community including my friends and relatives. The dislike and homophobia was so intense that even my relatives and friends disowned and ostracized me. 🌈
As a result of the persecution (arbitrary arrests and assaults), discrimination, and the draconian homophobic laws, I fled Uganda to Kenya in 2021 and claimed asylum; I filed my asylum case with the UNHCR (the United Nations Refugee Agency) and the Government of Kenya. The Government of Kenya reserves the mandate of conducting Refugee Status Determination and granting refugee status to asylum seekers. 🌈
Unfortunately the Government of Kenya refused to grant me and other queer refugees, a Refugee Status Determination (RSD) interview because they didn't want to grant refugee status and thus legal residence status to queer asylum seekers. 🌈
Towards the end of 2023 when they (Government officers working in Kakuma refugee camp) explicitly told us (the LGBTQ refugees and asylum seekers) to go away and find somewhere else to claim asylum and safety, I moved to South Sudan together with my fellow LGBTQ refugees and asylum seekers and we sought asylum in South Sudan. Unlike in Kenya, the UNHCR in South Sudan is allowed by the Government of South Sudan to conduct the Refugee Status Determination (RSD) interviews using their International experts. Fortunately, the UNHCR in South Sudan granted me and my fellow LGBTQ refugees a Refugee Status Determination (RSD) interview which I passed and I was granted refugee status which meant a little bit of safety from continued persecution since I can't be deported back to Uganda because I am a recognized refugee. 🌈
I have been a refugee and an Asylum seeker for nearly four years in Kenya and South Sudan. I still face a lot of psychological torture and trauma as a result of the persecution I faced in my home country Uganda; I was also disowned and ostracized by my relatives and friends, a fact that is significantly contributing to the psychological torture that I am experiencing. 🌈
My unfortunate experience of persecution and discrimination has pushed me to becoming an LGBTQ rights activist and advocate. I dream about the day when I will speak for the voiceless queer people on the world stage. I hope for a world where no queer person has to forcefully leave the comfort of their home country to seek asylum in a foreign country in an attempt to save their lives, a world where no queer person is discriminated against, a world where draconian laws criminalizing homosexuality are a subject of history. Such a world is possible only when you and I join hands and resources and amplify each other's voices️. 🌈
While in Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya, I participated in a lot of advocacy and activism regarding LGBTQ refugee rights and safety. My advocacy work was documented on the Instagram account @sevencolorspectrumkakuma
Check out the Instagram profile and see the work of my activism and advocacy while the LGBTQ refugee community was still residing in Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya.
WHY YOU SHOULD DONATE:
We face numerous challenges. Mental health challenges such as psychological torture and stress are very common amongst us. We also face discrimination from the rest of the refugee population and the host community. The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) provides financial support in the local South Sudan currency, the South Sudanese Pounds, an equivalent of only $10 per refugee per month for basic needs. This money can't sustain us for more than a day considering the high inflation in South Sudan where we are living That amount given to us in South Sudanese Pounds is too little to sustain a person for more than a day. Therefore there is a challenge of lack of basic needs like food, clean drinking water, clothes, decent shelters, healthcare, etc. There are a considerable number of LGBTQ refugees in the camp who suffer from diseases such as HIV/AIDS, asthma, epilepsy, sickle cells, and of recent, cholera has become very common. 🌈
As an LGBTQ refugee rights activist, a representative and one of the leaders of our community, one of my tasks is to advocate for the betterment of the living conditions of the LGBTQ refugees in Gorom refugee camp. To that end, I reached out to a well-wisher based in the United States last year to help us set up a fundraising campaign on the popular crowdfunding platform "gofundme" since someone in Africa can't create a fundraising campaign on the platform. On April 29th, 2025 they launched our fundraiser which you can donate to by visiting the link below:

Hi there!
I have another friend that needs help, but not with getting donations to her campaign, but rather with having a campaign at all.
Sharon, @holyvirtuesoldier, used to have a campaign aimed at helping her and her fellow queer refugees at Kenya's Kakuma Refugee Camp, but the campaign had to be closed due to problems in running it.
They have been without any means to get donations ever since, and they still urgently need them because conditions in Kakuma remain very difficult for them.
Please, if you could help create a fundraiser for her, if you know someone who could, please DM her so she and those around her can have hope for their lives once again.
My genderqueer partner, @scarlet-silverweaver , their trans sister, Noraa, our collective 4 cats, and I all need help to avoid eviction.
(Last pic is my only pic of Noraa)
With Noraa being forced to move in because their mom refused to take her with her during their mom’s recent eviction and us needing to help pay for things to get settled, family and vet emergencies taking our money back to back for two consecutive weeks, being waited out or forced to quit from being discriminated against for being disabled and stalked at jobs, and the job market proving impossible to be hired anywhere and all 3 of us being unable to find jobs, we fell behind on our $300/week agreement and we got the notice that we’re about to be on our 3rd eviction at $1800 behind on rent and we have no way of catching up on time and nowhere to go. “Rental assistance programs” have been proven useless after they all told me they don’t actually do that even though resource pamphlets and emails said they do, and they all send us to one place that runs on a lottery that isn’t fast enough to save people from eviction. We’ve been given until the 5th to get out before they get the court involved and that’s impossible for us.
I’ve put more information on the specifics about how we got into this situation on our gofundme that I made just before posting this:
https://gofund.me/dcebb413b
If you would like, as a thank you for any donations, I can draw your favorite character in my style. I can color it in, but I don’t think I will have time or spoons for any full renders with job searching, resource searching, and UberEats delivering, just…generally trying to avoid this eviction at all costs. However, drawing will help me keep my sanity as well, and if you would like to gain something back, it would provide me with something else to focus on. Please, comment on this post and I will message you or message me with a screenshot and what you’d like.
I will edit this with examples of my art later. I really need to try to sleep as much as possible for an interview at 9am.
Everything will go towards paying our landlords and keeping us alive until we hopefully find jobs that can get us out of this.
I’m so sorry. I wish I wasn’t cornered to this. I understand we’re all struggling right now and there are so many people that need help. Please, reblog to boost this if you cannot afford to help. I understand. Every dollar you can spare and/or reblog in support counts towards our goal.
If you would also like to send help directly and immediately usable to us,
My CashApp is $LaidareV. By default, this is my one card that would be used for the household anyway.
My partner’s CashApp is $scarletsliverweaver
