The State World of Affairs

I have spent the past month wondering WTF has happened to our world. So much death, suffering, and hate. I kept hoping after the evil agent orange had been voted out, that some semblance of love, affection, and understanding would start prevailing again.

Instead it’s as if everyone with evil in their hearts and greed in their pockets has taken a step forward an announced they no longer have to live in the shadows. They can come forward into the light and proclaim with “honor” that they truly hate anyone not full of greed and evil and will do everything in their power to suppress anything like sympathy, empathy, or compassion.

An evil dictator invaded a sovereign nation, and still a month later after seeing bombed out hospitals, and women and children’s centers, some people are saying he had every right. WTF?!

The north and south pole had record high temperatures 30 & 40 degrees Celsius above normal with major ice shelf erosion, and yet somehow climate crisis is a myth. The flooding in Australia is already horrible, but so many turn a blind eye.

States around the US and countries around the world and rolling back civil rights by making it illegal for most LGBTQIA+ people to be acknowledged, cared for and included, let alone feel safe.

We have a worldwide pandemic that’s been ongoing for 2 years and adults are still throwing temper tantrums like a 2 year old when asked to help protect other peoples lives despite the fact that we have over 6 million dead. Which economists, doctors, and scientists calculate is low considering the number of countries not properly reporting numbers (USA included). This 6 million also doesn’t include the number of dead due to inability to get to the hospital, or have proper care for other illnesses due to the overburdened health care system.

I don’t even want to get started on inflation and high gas prices. Because apparently too few people want to understand that the ultra rich hoarding money is the biggest cause. I don’t know about the rest of the world, but in the USA most of these people don’t even pay taxes, let alone pay their fair share.

And that’s just a few of the horrible things happening in the world today that directly affect my family, but there are so many more. In the meantime, I watch my kids every day and see them grow and change and try to become compassionate people, and I wonder how the fuck are they every going to have a chance?!!

I rarely if ever use this blog for personal things. It’s mostly just been a fun place for me to reblog marvel artwork and content and occasionally lament about stupid shit around the world, but finally this past month just got to me, and rolled me under.

I want to say it will get better, but who the fuck knows anymore, because I’m actively afraid that evil and greed are gaining ground.
