Often times if I want to verify a claim or news article, I will add it to the reblog chain so I can find it in the future. I make no claims to the veracity of the article or opinion.

FYI I use the #unclad tag for myself personally on any questionably dressed and or sexual situation regardless of how it is tagged by anyone in the reblog chain.
If your blog is empty, I will assume you are a bot and block you. If your blog looks like a porn bot, I will assume you are a bot and block you. If you’re a racist, sexist, fascist, bigot, terf, fake feminist, or basically any variation of these I’ll figure it out eventually and block you. My block list is about twenty times longer than my follow list.
I do not allow anonymous comments because I don’t have time for anyone else’s bullshit, I have plenty of my own.
Yes, I am an asshole, but the very specific kind that would gladly let my tax dollars go to support anyone in need of housing, food, health care, mental health, disability aids, education, immigration, civil rights, voting rights, etc., but fucking hate when instead my taxes are used to subsidize big business, banks, rich fucks, blocking voting rights, banning books, removing bodily autonomy from 50% of the population, and basically trying to remove any rights that don’t specifically benefit a hetero cis white man.

I want to know so I can correct the problem. I am human and I will make mistakes. But I always want a chance to correct them whenever I can. I am not an artist in any way shape or form, so my understanding of it is limited to ‘Wow I like that!’. But I will never knowingly reblog AI art, since AI art is just theft of real artists hard work.

Things I’ve learned the last 5 years and keep forgetting to write down -
Only the TAGS on the original post count towards monthly yearly tallies (so no matter how many times I reblog Clint Barton he’s not going to make the year end top 100)
Only the first 5 TAGS are searchable (so if you want someone else to be able to find your post use the most important 5 first)
Only the first 20 TAGS are searchable inside your blog (so when you’re tagging 50 avengers from the comics make sure the first 20 are the ones you’re going to be looking for the most)
Even if you follow all these rules the TAGS are so broken most of the time, it won’t always work

I only donate to known organizations that I have already had personally vetted by professionals. I do not have time to verify any claims of need or claims of vetting by other people and organizations. I’m sorry.
I have limited funds and already have a list of organizations I donate to every year, so no, I’m sorry I won’t be able to donate to you or your local charity. I do donate to World Central Kitchen more than yearly though, especially in times of high need. So, if you’ve had a disaster near you, chances are I donated to them to help feed people in your area.
I’ll only reblog your donation request if it comes to me via a blog I’ve followed for years, or I know you personally. This helps keep the rampant fraud to a minimum.
I’m sure plenty of people will think this seems harsh or callous, then so be it. That’s what the block button is for, use it. Finances are tight and my mental health is also important, so I do what I can while still maintaining my sanity.

Please don’t @ me from some random post or blog. I will block you. I don’t even care about the reason anymore. I have gotten so many @ ‘s in the notes from posts that have been abandoned for years. I’m just done.
Again, I’m not promoting your random need unless you’re someone I know or already being reblogged from someone I know and trust. And following me for 10 seconds and then asking me to reblog it will not get you anywhere.
The fraud on this hellsite is out of control and I will not contribute the slavery involved in a lot of these scams.

However, if you are selling your art of any kind, I will absolutely pass it along. 99.99% of the time I won’t be able to buy anything because our budget is tight.
There have been one or two exceptions over the years, but please don’t expect yours to be one of them. As much as I’d love to support every artist, it’s just not in the cards.
I promise if I ever become filthy rich in some random stroke of luck, I’ll finally do more than reblog some of that gorgeous artwork out there.

A number of years ago I had almost 25,000 items in my likes folder. I just couldn’t find the time, so I had to choose to like or reblog something, and I get stressed out if I reblog something with no tags. So, liking it was just much faster.
As of today, I got that number below 7,000. I am oddly proud of myself. Especially considering I am also still able to reblog some of the current stuff sailing across my dash.
With the exception of the lovely artists who still draw Clint Barton, I am running really low on art for him. One of these days soon I will have no art left in my folder to reblog and I will be very sad. I need more artists to read comics Clint and be inspired 🥰😁
A few months ago I started adding reblogs of Kate Bishop to the mix with Clint artwork, but pretty soon I’ll also be adding the rest of the marvel 616 young avengers just to pad out the weekends better with artwork.
As always, 99% of my reblogs are queued or scheduled, just because it’s easier on me to have plenty to work with on any given day. And when I’m in a mood I can just hit shuffle and mix it up when I feel like it. Plus I love seeing all of it in the queue, it’s strangely satisfying.

I have finally manually gotten everything in my queue reblogged that got stuck after tumblr changes made it shit the bed. I spent all weekend trying to get my queue restocked, but it’s going to take a long damn time to get it back up to 800+ despite the fact I still have 5400 in my likes folder that still need to be reblogged. Especially given that to add tags to reblogs now takes me at least twice as long because of the stupid changes they made last fall.
Some days I love this place and hate it in equal measure.
Also, as some of you have noticed, I completely ran out of Clint Barton artwork in my likes folder to reblog. So from here on out it’s new art and old stuff I run across, and no more Clint Barton weekends 😭
