Why am I the tyrant's husband in a BL novel?!
Warning! I use a translator, English is not my native language.
Idea #9
I recently started watching the drama "What a Scandal!" (the title may be incorrect in English). I've also been really into manhwas with reincarnation or Self-Insert themes in the past, so I'm excited for this DP x DC crossover idea.
You'd think Danny would be the very person who ended up in the body of a character in the story. That's true, but he's in the body of the tyrant of this story, a story he hasn't even read! Literature still isn't his favorite subject; he'd rather read a physics book than a novel. And he's in a girl's body, too. It's not that his gender bothers him; he doesn't care about pronouns; he's just getting used to the body now.
And Danny definitely blames the Transparent Writer for this. He's definitely to blame. Danny also doesn't know that he's ended up in a Black Lives Matter novel, where at the end, his character is executed by the gay protagonists. And his powers are practically nonexistent, the only thing he retains are basic ghost abilities and a bit of cryokinesis.
And now about the tyrant's husband. Meet Jason Todd, and his not-sister Stephanie gave him a BL novel as a joke. But he read it, even though he sometimes wanted to scream from the horror and sheer drama of it. And he has no idea how he ended up in the book, especially as one of the lovers of the tyrant's Empress/Queen.
And now it's Jason's turn to enter the Queen's chambers. Everything was going smoothly until the tyrant Queen tried to kick him out, and he actually has a plan for his survival! He doesn't want to be burned alive!
She allowed him to stay, but acted extremely coldly and said sharply: "Howdy, what's up?"
Meanwhile, Danny is screaming inside himself because he so quickly embarrassed himself in front of such a handsome man, and also said some nonsense that people of this time will not understand.
Jason responded with the same slang. Danny was surprised, then sighed with relief, starting to cry, because he was so scared already. He really didn't like playing the role of a cruel woman, especially when everyone wanted to kill him, even this body's own mother. And he had an ally now, which was good.
And then they start developing a plan: "How do we get the two main characters to back off from the two villains?" Danny wants to keep his head on his shoulders, and Jay wants to stay out of the fire. They made this alliance in hell, promising those idiot main characters a meal of dirt.
And also find a way back. Maybe they'll even commit a few crimes along the way, and then, upon returning, bury the Clown.
I also found the perfect song for the criminal couple Danny and Jason.
