Hi all! I have yet another Chapter for “Life is like a Hurricane.” I do apologize for everyone waiting for the next chapters of my other two works. I am working on them. But with the current situation I’ve been having some writers block among other things...please forgive me! The newest chapter is a small song fic I came up with when listening to a song on youtube that I felt fit the evil Louie role. Going with the whole what if the kids turned evil theme this is the second I found. I hope you all enjoy. Feel free to leave comments on what you think about it and any other of my work! ^^ Have a good day.
I like how every now and then we get a glimpse at Louie’s evil side when he slips up and makes this kind of a face for just a split second before returning back to normal so no one could notice the devil deep down inside of him.
I hope the animators do that on purpose and it isn't just me reading way too deeply into this.
Don’t go evil louie 💎😭
Control by Halsey
Damn that is a cool song. A little freaky. I love it.
This song sounds a lot like @tricia-morvill’s awesome possessed!scrooge AU or the evil!Louie au/headcanon that’s been floating around the fandom for months. Particularly the one where that jewel back in Sky Pirates... in the Sky that showed him a “darker side of himself” is actually a magical artifact. It has some sort of demonic possession power. Louie, being the treasure addictive he is, comes back to the gem later on despite it being creepy. It earns its way in by playing on his greedy side (“yesss, steal the last cookie, your brothers will never know...”). The gem starts saying worse and worse things, like steal your uncle’s treasure. He gets caught, because Scrooge loves treasure just like Louie does. After that, Louie wants to pull back, but the gem doesn’t. When he realizes that the gem is alive and has an agenda of its own, Louie tries to back out. But he’s in too deep. The gem possesses him, and it has the power to do so as long as he’s holding the gem. Louie begins to act not quite like Louie, so his family worries. Someone, either Lena, Dewey, or Webby (Huey can’t keep secrets) finds out but the gem threatens to hurt Louie so they have to keep quiet.
Bonus: When the final showdown comes and the fam has to fight Louie’s body (which is tricky because they can’t hurt him, but he can hurt them) and figure out a way to free him, it’s revealed that Scrooge actually went down the same path way back when. When the gem ended up back in his possession, it was going to try to take advantage of him again, but it found a better target in Louie. (Not that it would have worked anyway. Scrooge is a better person now, with his family to keep him in check.)
One more thing this song made me think of:
Spoilers
From the last episode had some great moments
First, Louie noticing that he's completely alone, that he really fucked up, and that the dread was starting just before everyone reappeared.
Second, Della's eyes in this moment. Everyone are confused, but Della is straight up disappointed and furious.
Third, in the end everyone is here, except Louie. Maybe glomtales will start just at this moment? Maybe Louie is still grounded.
Or well, I'm afraid of Louie's anger and what he's capable of doing while his mind is clouded (I have the impression that this boy can store huge amounts of bad feelings).
Is this Louie feeling quite comfortable while being surrounded by pure evil and villainy?
Yes, yes it is
