Evil Nature is two-minute creature short that feels like Evil Dead 2 meets Gremlins set on Halloween. Watch it above.
Director Darin Beckstead assembled quite an impressive crew for the project. Gilbert Adler (Superman Returns, Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight) serves as executive producer, Todd Masters (Slither, True Blood) tackled the creature design, and Walt Jones (Life of Pie, The Chronicles of Riddick) produced the digital effects.
Beckstead filmed the proof of concept with a skeleton crew in a single evening in Los Angeles. He hopes there's interest in a feature, and a script is already written.
