I was in charge of creating the concept of the next Pokémon Game duos. They wanted Pikachu and evil Pikachu.. evil Pikachu was just a purple Raichu... I woke up stressed.

Why does pikachu get a evil form
Evil form... hmm, are you talking about this?
From what I remember from the anime, this form happened when Pikachu inadvertently merged with the Blue Orb during the fight between Groudon and Kyogre, which caused him to be more powerful and aggressive until the orb separated from his body after the battle.
As for why Pikachu, it's because he's Ash's main Pokemon (and the Pokemon mascot), so a lot of special things happen to him.

ok so i don’t often draw or post my OC’s, but i had the urge to draw my Team Rocket pikachu Logan who I’ve had for over 5 years, and I found some groovy pixel art brushes halfway through this piece, and i think it turned out pretty heckin cool! ^^
