Hearing Jaxton and Grayson get over-excited, the old man begins to wonder if the door to Summer’s house is going to hold - the two dogs are very protective of her and while he admires that, he has no plans to get too close. He lays down a small box on the front porch, inside is glowing purple crystal with instructions regarding how to incorporate it into her portal gun. She will need it to travel to Aurora and he hopes she considers this an invitation. The tag reads: Merry Christmas, R.
At the sound of her canines’ warning growls, Summer immediately dropped the project she was working on to go investigate. The redhead had trained them well, to know better than to raise alarm over simply the mailman, so when they both suddenly started showing interest in the front door, Summer knew something was amiss. Proceeding with caution, Summer opened the front door, glancing around at her surroundings a bit before noticing the small package on the step. Odd, she hadn’t ordered anything…
Pulling out her phone, Summer quickly reviewed the security footage upon consideration of the gift. Hey, you could never know, what if it was a lethal powder of some sort? There was a lot of people who disliked her in the galaxy, it wouldn’t surprise her if one of them had managed to find her address. Weirder things have happened after all, couldn’t be too careful.
Upon seeing just who dropped off the strange package at her door, surprise filled the girl, causing her to reopen her door once more and pick up the little box from her doorstep. Merry Christmas, R. Really? Well, this was certainly the first… Closing the door behind her, Summer opened the present as honey akin hues quirked ever so slightly at the vibrant gem in her hand, slim digits twirling it about carelessly whilst she attempted to determine its function. Finally giving up her little guessing game, the redhead read the attached set of instructions and a small smile formed on her lips. Fingers swiftly danced across the screen as Summer relayed a text Rick’s way reading, “Thanks for the gift, I really appreciate it. When would be a good day to visit?”
