Unpopular opinion: it's hypocritical to like Irina and act like it's wrong and a sin to like Ma.
"But what about Ma did to Gallerian and Nemesis?" Irina gave the Venom sword to Venomania and Prim besides using Mariam as a child soldier and I don't see anyone acting like liking Irina is wrong.
Just don't tell people what characters they can like or not.

Yesterday, I found a twitter thread saying that Evillious shouldn't be supported. Among the reasons, it includes Venomania's character and it says that it romantizes brainwashing and incest.
You could replace the thread with "stupid author, stupid novels" and it would look the same.
I think the western side of the Evillious fandom is one of the few places where you'll find people acting as if a 30-something judge has less agency than a 14 years old.
One of the dumbest things I've heard in the Evillious fandom is when someone called the fans stupid and thought that people would take their ethics and morals from the characters.
The fact that Evillious has a fandom in TikTok worries me because it means it was advertised in a censored way.
An official translation of the Evillious event of Project Sekai wouldn't be good. We don't need new fans that learnt about Evillious because of this game.
