I just watched the first episode of Mr Love: Queen’s Choice on Crunchyroll and Oh. My. Fuck.

The animation is actually pretty good???? I was SO afraid the animation would be garbage. The way they made the characters eyes and how expressive they are is something that really stood out to me. Also Kiro’s singing? YO, are we getting actual downloadable songs or?? Cause I’m so down for that. They chose the voice actors really well! I was a little worried that the voice actors wouldn’t live up to the ones we’re so used to hearing in the game but my worries were short lived.

They’ve only released one episode and I adore it already.

I was lucky enough to get front row seats to Basia writing this and oh goSH does it deliver! It’s full of domesticity and care and makes your heart feel at he revealed details and your mind work with the unrevealed details.

Basia’s eye for, and attention to, detail is beautifully highlighted here for the reader’s benefit, everything from the aesthetic and consideration of MC’s-gifted lavender candles at Gavin’s house to the actual first aid is spot on and creates a beautiful environment for the fic to live in.

I would rec this fic for a stormy day, for a rainy day, for a light drizzling day and for a sunny day, because it’s a treat for all days, all ways.
