Kind of related to the grabbing things talk: The place I lived at like a year ago had a lot of velvet ants in the yard, and I’m prone to picking up every bug I see. I never picked it up but I was barefoot at the time and I did dick around with it gently w a stick for a bit and put her in a cup to show my mom.

& like. dude. same. When i first moved here I found a velvet ant in the dirt lot next door and had never seen them b4 so rly just thought it was an ant and naturally i caught that thang in a jar took it around to show the neighborhood kids and shit. didnt find out it was a wasp until months later and didnt know how painful the sting is until coyote peterson.......
