“Derek. I didn’t take your stuff. Someone else must have gone into your room and taken whatever you’re missing ‘cause I didn’t do it.” That was a lie. Malia was indeed the one who had ‘wandered’ into his room and ‘borrowed’ his baseball bat and a couple of other things that she had deemed appropriate for making Scott McCall’s house safe again. But she wasn’t about to tell him that, so she told a small lie, which was something that she had promised herself that she would never do again. But somehow, self preservation always came before everything else, so she HAD TO lie. Again.
hc + loyalty
headcanon
loyalty is something that anne takes very seriously, always carefully considering it. whether it meant giving her loyalty to someone or receiving it, either way it isn’t something she just gives away. loyalty is the same as trust with her, it’s earned rather than gained unconditionally. though, there are some exclusions to the rule when it comes to other witches. anne has always felt a kinship with other witches, and most of the time they are in need of her trust and loyalty just as she needs theirs. but sometimes, that isn’t given out the way it should – it happens when anne comes across a witch who practices dark magic. dark magic is something anne is completely against, so if a witch uses her magic for selfish reasons and evil; they might never receive anne’s loyalty even if they are one of her own.
other supernatural creatures truly have to work for anne’s loyalty. vampires will never get it, as far as she’s concerned, since she knows they will probably never be loyal to her. vampires have never shown anne her loyalty, in all of her years knowing a few – she’s never come across a truly good one. not one that wouldn’t turn with a stupid flip of a switch. werewolves are a different story, where at first she will not trust them enough to become loyal. she’s been burned by werewolves in the past, not nearly as bad as a vampire has, but it had happened. laura hale is a complete anomly to the way anne gives out her loyalty, since the werewolf had been a very quick friend for the witch. laura received anne’s full trust and loyalty very early on in their friendship, and she’s hoping that it will never come to laura abusing what anne has given her. though, even the witch feels like that would be unlikely – the hale family seem like the most trustworthy werewolves. still, even anne is surprised by how quickly she gave her loyalty to laura.
although there are some people anne may be aligned with, given that they all want to protect this town, she hasn’t given her loyalty to all of them. the witch hunters, for instance, she isn’t loyal to. sure they may be on the same side at the moment, but if it ever changes where their goals are unaligned, anne will do what it takes to protect herself and her coven. she doesn’t give a pretense that she is the least bit loyal to the witch hunters. the other hunters, on the other hand, she can be loyal to if they prove themselves. chris argent is someone who has proved to have a good head on his shoulders, someone anne could give her loyalty to without feeling like its been misplaced at all.

… a sleep headcanon
YOU ARE MEAN CAUSE SLEEP IS MEAN CAUSE EMPTY BEDS ARE AWFUL!! Even after changing places, he still can’t get used to how empty it feels. The apartment does have a smaller bed, he talked himself into how there was no need for a huge one and how it would feel less lonely if there was less empty bed by his side but… Sometimes he still just lays awake staring, hoping for some miracle that he’ll just have to close his eyes and when he opens them again, Victoria will be there.
… an anger headcanon
You mean anger over his daughter seeming to only attract werewolves for boyfriends? Cause I mean, he was planning on being totally chill about the whole dating thing, teenagers date, even if you don’t keep them around the same people more than a couple of months, but werewolves is just… HE WORRIES! He seriously worries and he gets angry if Allison’s putting herself in harm’s way and if there’s little chance it will turn out not terrible in the long run! He gets angry over not doing a good job at protecting people he cares about, that he can’t change the world in that way. At his mother dying probably of a werewolf attack, at Victoria choosing to die over a bite, at Kate turning herself into a dead creature…
HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DOING HIS JOB RIGHT AND HE’S NOT AND PEOPLE ARE GETTING HURT AND HOW DOES ONE CHANGE THE WAY THEY SEE THINGS SO NOTHING BAD WILL HAPPEN!!
… what my muse as a child thought they would be when they grew up
My first thought is superhero and I do think I’m sticking with it. He probably did grow up reading comic books and loving the whole notion of ordinary people saving the world. That is, until Gerard decided he should be reading things for grown ups and not little drawings. So he read whatever books Gerard threw his way and let go of comic books. But yes, I do think there was a period there where little Chris wanted to be a superhero and save the world. It’s funny how things turn out.

how my muse would choose to die, if it were up to them
Honestly, if you really give him a choice he would choose immortality, still. For a very reckless and impulsive vampire, he does actually like living despite also being dead. He revels in being a vampire, this is who he is and he’s going to continue living like this. Yet, if Damon’s humanity was on, he would go down fighting – no matter the terms. If he was fighting for someone or something, it had to be something that would impact him enough to even put himself in that position. Realistically, the only way that would happen is if Stefan was in trouble. It seems to be the only time where Damon truly puts himself in the crossfire and ready himself for the possible embrace of death. Such a strange thing that Damon would die for his brother, because of that backwards way of thinking where only he can be the one to hurt/kill Stefan.
five things my muse sucks at
one. making friends. two. *insert vampire pun here*. three. the ability to resist puns. four. being a good guy. five. charades.
Bloodstone, celestite, mica
BLOODSTONE: how my muse sees themself as part of the world at large.
Caroline doesn’t see herself as largely important when you’re considering the world at large. She’s just one person out of so many & while she may stand out in her little town, she knows she means little to most of the world. Truthfully? She’s okay with that. She wants to feel important to the people closest to her, to the people in her area, and that’s enough for her. So long as she feels appreciated by those she sees daily, she’s content.
CELESTITE: how my muse deals with anxiety.
Distraction, distraction, distraction— She’s very much the type to distract herself with other things. Whether it be someone else’s problems, a new town or school event, or even just cleaning ( stress cleaner alert ), she tends to avoid instead of hit it head on. That just makes it all the more worse when she does finally deal, because then it has built up & it’s very shattering for her. With little things, she tends to just keep positive about it in any way she can, and then eventually enough time has passed for her to have forgotten, or no longer need to learn to deal.
MICA: what my muse views as their worst personality trait.
This is rather complicated, because she knows what her worst personality trait is, but she also enjoys it? She is a self-proclaimed “control freak” ( and she’s definitely lost track of how many times others have called her that on their own too ), which has the tendency to make her incredibly overbearing. She is constantly striving for perfection in things, and she doesn’t like it if something is out of order or not the way she likes it. Yet, it’s been such a good trait for her. It’s helped her control the wolf side, and it’s gotten her very far in life. It will continue to help her persevere, and it makes her no longer settle; she’s definitely one to strive for the best. She can see why others might be annoyed by her overbearing nature & how often she barks at them when things are out of line, it ultimately is still one of her better traits.
Mica, ulexite, zoisite
mica: what my muse views as their worst personality traitHe would probably view his insecurity as his biggest flaw out of them all. Certainly, the other traits that I listed rebelliousness and hot-headedness can be quite detrimental in their own way. Stiles, however, wouldn’t think that those are traits that are necessarily holding him back. Getting him into trouble? Certainly. These traits aren’t personally holding him back in any shape, form, or fashion. His insecurity, however, is something that he wishes he could do without. He has never considered himself extraordinary. Even before all the supernatural stuff started happening, he wasn’t the kid that people would pick first or notice. But, now, it seems that the insecurity has only grown at witnessing his friends and others around them be capable of doing because of what they are. He feels completely powerless to help anyone which is something that he hates.
ulexite: how empathetic/sympathetic/compassionate my muse isQuite honestly, it depends on the person. He can be someone that is considered to be crass with his type of humor and hot-headedness. He is capable of being compassionate though. While he may not show a softer (non-sarcastic) side to strangers, he does show that side to those in his life that he considers to be close. He, for example, isn’t hesitant when it comes to listening to his Dad after he’s had a long day or trying to encourage Scott through any of his werewolf issues. When it comes to those that matter, Stiles has a heart like no other.
zoisite: does my muse believe everything’s going to work out for them in the end or not?Sadly, Stiles has a pretty pessimistic view which only stems from the insecurities that he has from himself. The death of his mother, perhaps, has something to do with this as well. It’s hard for him to envision a world where everything is going to be ok. It’s especially hard for him to see it when different dangers are surfacing every day. He is only human after all. What is he going to do about all this? More importantly, how is he going to survive this? More often than not, his views on the world around him are purely negative.

SPHALLOLALIA - Flirtatious talk that leads no where. (insp.)
The Grill was busier than ever. It was one of those nights when everyone decided they were in need of someone else to make their food, leaving a very long wait for any service or your food. Caroline supposed that she & Lydia could have long since left, yet she liked coming to the Grill for her food. It almost made the wait worth it, although she was still looking for a way to catch the attention of one of the Hales. Busy as they may be, she was still waiting for one of them to acknowledge the fact that Lydia & Caroline were waiting. She sat with her chin in her hands, waiting as the workers busily moved between the tables. People poured in every few minutes, hovering by tables of people who were almost done eating to swipe their table as soon as they were available. Someone even hovered around them for a few minutes before Caroline shook her head. They weren’t going anywhere anytime soon. Her line of sight rested on Lydia now, who lightly tapped her on the solider and was gesturing towards the fact that even Derek was out on the floor helping deliver some of the food. FLIRT WITH HIM NOW, Lydia insisted. Get his attention so we can order. Caroline considered for a moment before picking up a napkin & waving it in the air as Derek neared. She waited for it to catch his attention before she changed the tone in her voice & shot him a smile—
❝ Oh, Derek! — We’re just ever-so-hungry over here & just dying for some food—❞
❝ KEEP YOUR PANTS ON. ❞
The napkin was dropped back onto the table & Caroline made a face at him. That certainly hadn’t been her best flirting, but it was hard to do your best when it was such

flirting. Her attention diverted back towards Lydia, shrugging her shoulders. So much for that.
