Two Mages Far from Home - closed rp - evxdent

There was something about the way the sky seemed to shine in this part of the world. The stars twinkled like they were trying to steal the attention of anyone who would let them. Brown orbs stared up at the sky as she tried to understand what had just happened. They were always so reckless, she thought. A team mission wasn’t supposed to go this far but maybe they were lured this far from the guild hall for a reason. All she knew was Natsu and Happy ran forth to the glowing statue quickly. Erza had managed to keep up with them.
However, Lucy had struggled to go with them and she last remembered Gray strolling behind her. The ice mage didn’t seem like he had been in a hurry at all. Suddenly there had been a flash once the three got to the statue. It sent Lucy flying back. Only the heavens knew how long she laid there staring up at the sky. Dazed and injured as she tried to process what she had seen. Process if her mind had been playing tricks on her. They were still in their world but she wasn’t sure if the other were. Couldn’t begin to tell you if her friends were alive or not.
Laying there wasn’t going to help her though. Carefully she pulled herself up so that she was at least sitting there on her knees. The pants she had chosen to wore were torn to shorts now and the blouse had been missing it’s sleeves and the bottom half of it revealing her stomach. A cold air drifted through and picked up her blonde locks as she stared meekly where her friends once were. There was no sign of them anywhere.
Footsteps were what finally broke her out of the trance. Immediately in defense her head shot over to where the sound was. The cracking of twigs from some of the brush that was left over. Her eyes were still adjusting to the night especially after the bright blast. Instinctively she reached for her keys and thumbed until she found Loke’s key. Holding it in preparation to summon the spirit.
It wasn’t an enemy that stepped out though but instead the dark haired ice mage. Shirtless and his pants were a bit torn but otherwise seemingly unscathed from what she could tell at the distance. Eyes widening slowly as tears threatened from the corner of her eyes. He was alive and there.
“Gray..” she managed; her mouth dry and struggling to speak.
