SUBLIME CINEMA #331- EX DRUMMER
Koen Mortier is an under appreciated director, with a punk rock film attitude that bites and growls; the movie almost hurts to watch the same way Trainspotting did. It’s a dark punk rock comedy with a Flanders bent, and overall Belgian cinema has yielded some very offbeat gems. This is one of them.

Do you want a punk movie? Here it is. Absolutely disturbing and distress. The atmosphere is dirty all the time: you can feel the discomfort of all the characters. Sometimes it's also funny but it's most cruel and violent. This movie will scandalise the spectator of the brutal reality; there is NO mercy for anyone.
