ESE I think it is fair to say that we do not share the same tastes 😂 but what we do have in common is the understanding that we don't have to like all the same things as our friends, and the desire to make this fandom more fun and approachable and accommodating to everyone, regardless of what they like and how they like it. (and also some kinks ;D iykyk). what really stands out to me is that as long as I've known you you've been a relentless force for positivity and optimism, always ready to cheerlead and uplift other creators and encourage people to create whatever makes them happy, even while you were personally going through hell. you are a ray of sunshine on this earth and I am so glad to be your friend

Ngl I’m still half-expecting some emotional gut punch episode about Rose and Amethyst bc she’s had one with Pearl and Garnet both and Amethyst’s relationship with Rose has always been hinted at as deeper than Amethyst lets on- in the comics she mentions that Rose ‘told her stories’ and the story in particular related back to a corruption, and in What’s Your Problem she calls her issues with Rose a “thousand year old complex.”

And don’t get me wrong. I know Rose was basically Amethyst’s mom. I know most (if not all) of it draws back to that. But I wouldn’t be shocked if Amethyst had some secret thing with Rose that she just doesn’t talk about on top of that.
