What do you mean by cheating fics? Do you mean where someone is cheating on their partner? Why would you like that? No judgement, just curious.

A 'cheating fic' is when there is cheating going on. I admit I'm fond of fics where Bakugou cheats on Izuku, leading to Izuku moving on to someone better. It's fun.

It's more of a guilty pleasure then anything. I enjoy drama, and while I've never cheated or been cheated on I saw it happen with family members. My own parents cheated on each other, and worked through it together. My aunt's life fell apart.

It's just fun. I don't tend to read fics where they stay together even after mostly because for me, I like the drama of them not. If I knew someone was cheating I'd tell their partner, and I don't think it's right. I love my parents and we worked through it, but I don't have as much respect for them as I did when I was unaware.

It's just another case of: hey, so this is bad in real life but I kinda like reading it.
