Snippet Someday
I write only because people tag me in these and I realize I haven't written anything long enough to count. Thank you @runawaydragons!
They stepped in one after the other and Jovus tolerated, only barely, the sensation of being taken apart and recombined. No form of magical travel — no portal, no mirror, no spell — was ever comfortable. The price to pay for crossing hundreds of miles and possibly dimensions. But they both came through intact to one of the back rooms of the pawn shop, the barely-secret hideout of the Shadow Dragons. One of many, Neve had told him, but where the others were was unclear. This one was where it was to give people a place to run and hide if they needed it. It had been raided before and would be again, and yet Shadow Dragon operations would continue. The room beyond had people in it who glanced up curiously as they entered and then ignored them. Only Tarquin frowned as he looked up from the fire. "What are you doing here?" he asked, the tone directing the question at Jovus. "Is Rook coming? Neve?" "Just us," Inadas said. "Neve sent us. Venatori things." "You, I get." He jerked his pointed goatee at Jovus. "Why him?" Inadas glanced over their shoulder at Jovus and also frowned. "Neve asked me to bring him." "Of course she did. She's got a soft spot for that mutt." The dog sprawled in front of the fire looked up at Tarquin curiously. "Not you." It lowered its head back down with a whine. Jovus sighed inwardly. They didn't have time to pick a fight with Tarquin. "I'll play you some battle music. Let's get a move on." "Right. See you," Inadas said to Tarquin, pausing only to give a quick pat on the sleepy dog's head. "He didn't bring his instrument. Don't let him sing!" Tarquin called after them.
@avoskorm was already tagged but I'm doubling down on the tag. also tagging @oldxenomorph and @plasticfreckles as always.
Entrapdak Positivity Week - April ‘22
Well, I don’t need a lot of people saying they’re in before I launch something! It’s a bit last minute of course and as per usual, there is absolutely zero obligation to participate. In fact, I don’t know if I can do everything, either.
But as I said before, our little fandom deserves some positive vibes again. So here are a few prompts for the last week of April! You’ll notice that I made both the prompts and the layout for the schedule absolutely sickeningly sweet for maximum fluff.
Writing, art, headcanons--anything goes! Just enjoy yourself with some Entrapdak goodness.
Hope to see some of you then! Though, again, there is no obligation to fill all or any prompts. We’re all busy people, I’m sure, and this is on short notice just to counter folks trying to throw off our groove lately.
Have fun with it!
actually the happiest guy alive rn tbh. i've never been more glad to be able to call someone mine. ❤️❤️❤️ ((also pls ignore how sweaty we are. we went walking for this lmao))
Coworker showed up at 7:20 and was like "I didn't expect you to be out here" Me: "you /said/ 7." Don't even try me bro....
[I haven't updated in weeks and it's slowly becoming clear to me that I might not really come back like I was last year, not completely. But I love toddlerstuck and I don't want it to die, so we're shifting into mob rule. Toddlerstuck by the people, for the people.
You run toddlerstuck now. Post fic, post art, post things only tangentially related to my canon, post things that comply with my canon. I'm just the moderator now.
The submit box is wide open. Thank you so much for all the support.]
