Overkill

When a package arrived via UPS Thursday, I assumed it couldn’t be what I had ordered because the box was too big. The garden-sprayer nozzle I was expecting was about the size of my thumb.

I concluded that it must have been something Sharon had ordered.

But, no; when we oped the box there was my nozzle, nestled in all that packing paper and empty space, like hummingbird egg in an eagle’s nest.

I’ll try to repurpose the box and use the paper to start our next brush fire.

I found this.

Do they pay people to put these labels on or did someone invent a machine to do it I wonder?

Am now looking forward to the same wrapping being applied to grapes.

Once you become aware and concerned about excess product packaging you will never see a supermarket the same way again. What was once a food store will now just look like a plastics warehouse.
