Hello tumblr,

Didn't actually think I'd be able to make a post today. My post yesterday didn't really go through well, because I fell asleep halfway through typing it. Also you probably shouldn't be expecting regular updates in the coming ten days, as I'm out for an exchange.

Today marked the start of our exchange with Scotland. Our train from Lille left at 9h in the morning. We arrived in London at 10h local time after which we took a short walk towards Euston Station. We had about 2 and a half hours left there before our next train left, so we were able to grab some food there. At 12h30 our train from London to Carlisle left. It was a rather long journey, about 4 hours I think. It was rather OK though, because we were able to play some card games and I watched the Lego Movie with a friend of mine. From Carlisle we took our last train towards Dumfries and having arrived there, we were driven to the school we'd be exchanging with. This was in Thornhill, about 15 miles out from Dumfries and our exchange students were waiting for us there. We met everyone shortly and pretty much immediately after we split up, each to his own host family. I got to their house and after I was settled into my room, I went downstairs and talked with my exchange student (let's call him Jake) for a bit. We talked for some time, waiting until Jake's mum had finished dinner. We had dinner shortly after and then I talked some more with him and his parents. Afterwards we watched some TV. Jake went to bed about half an hour ago because he was sick and in the meanwhile, I'm sitting here typing this up.

I'll probably go to bed soon too, as it's been a long day.
