Very excited for this exchange, here are the best answers I can give you (disclaimer: I did not say they were good answers)

1. Not really!!!!!! I like found families and I like holidays! Maybe not Valentine’s Day I guess?

2. Only one bed, fake dating for the mission, oh no I don’t hate you I LIKE LIKE you, we’re oblivious “”””best friends”””””, Clint Barton crymaxes (okay that one is Word of God)

3. Oh Nat, 100%, it’s not even close there’s no competition. I guess after that Steve has kind of grown on me and Lucky the pizza dog is always a delight.

4. Fraction Clint, comic!Bucky with mashup of MCU!Bucky Tragique Backstory (kind of any formulation of Bucky is good tbh except for the one where he was Cap’s kid sidekick, as long as Bucky is shorter than Clint this is very important to me)

I hope this helps and I’m sorry if it doesn’t! I’m a simple creature of simple needs and mostly I just need tol!clint smol!bucky and some kind of happiness for my tortured angst ridden deranged little men.

I put together a lil ramble to go with your pack halloween party moodboard, hope you like it!

The shop boys insist on coming over to Gordo’s before it starts. Mark is at the Bennett house, having been recruited to help set everything up.

Gordo has never enjoyed Halloween, ever since he was a child and his father wouldn’t allow him to dress up or go out trick or treating because that was for ‘cissy boys’, and ‘you’re not a cissy boy, are you Gordo?’ and because he had ‘responsibilities’ to take care of for the pack (even though Gordo knew Mark and Thomas were out ringing doorbells dressed up as skeletons and collecting candy)

The shop boys berate Gordo for his lack of costume, and Rico tries to splatter some fake blood on him but he ducks out the way just in time. He thinks he’s better off not dressed up rather than sweating his ass off in what looks to be a full on fursuit that Rico’s wearing. Chris and Tanner have gone for the more laid-back approach, with fake fangs and long cloaks and threats to suck his blood.

They eventually make their way over to the Bennett house, which is decked out in more spooky decorations than Gordo thought possible. It’s adorned with pumpkins carved with gruesome scenes from horror films and ghost stories, which Gordo is later informed are the handiwork of Carter and Kelly (mostly Carter).

Most of the pack is already there, with costumes ranging from a little facepaint and a slogan tee (Kelly), to a head to toe Clark Kent costume, complete with trademark glasses (Robbie). When he undoes the top buttons of his shirt to show off his supersuit later in the evening Carter chides, ‘I would have thought you’d have learned by now that wolves need less layers, not more,’ and jokes about trying to goad Robbie into his shift to destroy two outfits at once.

Jessie arrives later, still dressed in her witch’s costume from the school Halloween party, glitter in her hair and around her eyes. Bambi comes in with her, dressed as a zombie Barbie and immediately tackles Rico, knocking off the head of his costume and making a show of kissing him passionately. 

Gordo makes his way through to the kitchen where Mark is talking to Elizabeth, chopping up apples Kelly and Robbie picked that afternoon from the trees in the garden, while she rolls out pastry on the countertop.

‘And what are you meant to be?’ he asks by way of greeting, raising an eyebrow. Mark doesn’t seem to have worn anything radically different from his usual style, save for a pair of black rimmed glasses that look like they’ve been borrowed from Robbie and a cap pulled down over his closely trimmed hair.

Mark gives a low chuckle, ‘I decided to go niche this year, apparently there’s this author called TJ Klune who looks quite like me, or so I’m told.’ (I’m so sorry. Except for the part where I’m really not.)

Later in the evening, the pack gathers outside where a campfire has been set up and mugs of hot cocoa are passed around. They take turns telling spooky stories while roasting marshmallows until the early hours of the morning.

They fall asleep in a pack pile, curled up around each other and there are enough shifted wolves and residual heat from the campfire that no one even feels the cold.

(Both of Robbie’s outfits are ruined. Carter laughs his head off).

Yo Tenka is it true Beijing has the purest form of mandarin? I want to do a internship abroad and I want to go to shanghai SOO bad but I heard Beijing is the best place to learn Chinese (Mandarin)

HAHAHA you’re asking a 9th gen beijing loser rn aka me so surely I cannot be expected to give you an unbiased opinion… alas I will try

*Clears throat* I always say that the Beijing mandarin accent pronounciation is the most perfect, but all the southerners scream at me and tell me they don’t think I know what I’m talking about given I tend to roll all my words into one with the -ER sound (you’ll know what I mean soon enough, ask a beijing person to say 不知道 or 四十四 you’ll hear it. ALSO though said southerners who yell at me are abcs and they are hardly good at mandarin chinese, some of them can barely speak cantonese at home so you’d ask where is their standing to comment on how understandable my mandarin is to the native chinese speaker ;DDDD  ). To be fair when I talk to non-northerner chinese people my mandarin is as standardised as possible (unless I’m deliberately trying to mess with them) - so that is when you will see it in it’s most purest “standard” form (lol) and yes I think that is standard AF. Note though that Beijing isn’t the only place with nice “”””standard””” mandarin - I’ve met people from Xinjiang or Wenzhou or inner mongol, who have pretty standard-form pronounciation, but then again it also comes down to personal circumstances, who you grew up with, when you left the country, if you spent any time in another province etc.

I should sell Beijing to you, I mean - do you like history? If you’re an ancient chinese history nerd because I am then the summer palace, and forbidden palace, you’ll probably never get tired of, along with the other small streets and stuff you can wander through forever and nom all the street snacks. The ancient vibe of those places is amazing and you can ogle the emperor’s throne that they probably murdered all their brothers for ha ha ha am i selling it to you yet. Air quality isn’t great though tbf - but neither is it in Shanghai - and because it’s now the political central, the vibe of the whole city can seem too goverment-centric and parts of it can feel a bit like a concrete jungle with all the govt. buildings and whatnot, compared to what it used to be :( Same applies to Shanghai though, and Shanghai doesn’t even have all the imperial sites so… (but chenghuangmiao is nice.) 

Now, SHanghaiiii - their mandarin isn’t bad, if you just want to learn the language itself then it’s fine. They do have an accent though - I can tell a shanghai accent the moment I hear it - and note they have their own dialect, so locals will likely be speaking the shanghai dialect to each other lol. It’s a fine city, my biased ass prefers Beijing. If you want to go to Shanghai that badly honestly, just go there - I think they have xiao long bao there that’s to die for. How long will you be there for? I’m sure there will be enough people there to keep your mandarin in shape, especially if you are going there to learn the language - just know about the accent, though and what it sounds like and how not to pick it up… (sounds easy in practice eh). 

An exchange overseas doesn’t make or break your practice in the language in any way, I know people who have spent years in Japan and their Japanese isn’t great, while there are people who have barely been to Japan and their Japanese is almost as good as a native speaker - so don’t worry too much, just enjoy and have a good time and get what you can out of it .

Hi! I'm just asking, since I'm your gift maker for the fantasy haikyuu project. Just wanted to check two things: are you okay with stated death of a main character? They live multiple lives, so it's not permanent, per se... its not graphic, either. And also, do you mind second person POV? I write second person as though the 'you' is a specific character, rather than an insert? If it's any kind of problem I'm fine writing third person, I just wanted to pass it by you.
