Ting releases debut solo mini-album “Mmmh″

Unity’s Ting has made his solo debut with the release of his first solo mini-album! Ting has recently made appearances on television as a main cast member of base TV’s Secret Sibling and SBS’s Master In The House. Earlier this month, Ting wrapped promotions with his group for their latest release “Make A Wish (Birthday Song)” and its accompanying mini-album Unity Resonance Pt.1.

Mmmh allows Ting to further begin to form an identity for himself as an entertainer and performer outside of Unity. While the album heavily leans into R&B elements heard in some of Unity’s tracks, Ting’s solo identity for this mini-album hones in on the PBR&B and sensual trap R&B subgenres. Ting contributed lyrically to all of the songs on the album, having helped with “Mmmh”, “Nothing On Me”, “Amnesia” and “Hello Stranger” and penning “Reason” and “Ride or Die” on his own.

The mini-album’s title track, “Mmmh’, is a smooth minimalist pop R&B track. The music video places emphasis on the performance, with much of the choreography being shown throughout. “Mmmh’” will be promoted on music shows for a month and b-side track “Reason” will also be staged for the first week of promotions.

SBS has just announced that the maknae of Dimensions’ junior boy group, Unity, will be joining the cast of their variety show, Master in the House. The premise of the show surrounds the cast members spending two days and one night with someone who is a professional in their field, in hopes of gaining knowledge and wisdom from them. When questioned about their casting selection, SBS stated that Ting’s charismatic and charming personality would bring something fresh and new to the cast.

SBS will began airing episodes featuring Ting on February 28, 2021.

[NEWS] Unity’s Ting confirmed to make solo debut with a single

Dimensions Entertainment has announced the solo debut of Unity’s maknae, Ting. Rumors have circulated for weeks about Ting’s solo music release, and Dimensions has finally confirmed those rumors. After a busy year of group activities and gracing the cover of Harper’s Bazaar, Ting has been slated to debut with his own music at the end of this month.

Dimensions has confirmed that the song’s title is “Face” and Ting has helped in the creative process of the song as well. “Face” will be released on September 30th and Ting will promote the track on music shows for a month.

Unity’s Ting covers Harper’s Bazaar Korea September issue

Dimensions’ latest boy group, Unity, has been making waves in the music industry, both domestically and internationally. With the success of their world tour and two comebacks under their belt already this year, group member Ting will be venturing off in his first solo endeavor away from the group.

The maknae will be gracing the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Korea’s September issue. Chosen for his height and uniquely charming good looks, Ting will be featured in a wide array of different photos, wearing several different high end designers. The photo shoot has a mature, almost grunge like style to it, with him wearing darker colored clothing to fit the aesthetic.

When asked about his own fashion tastes, Ting replied, “I like trying new things. Fashion is something that I like playing around with and adding my own spin on.” In response to the follow up question on whether or not he wants to continue down the fashion route or if he has anything else planned for the future, Ting had this to say: “I’m not really sure. Right now my main focus is Unity, and it always will be, but in the future I hope that our Angels will be enjoying new material, whatever that may be, from me.”

[NEWS] Unity’s Ting announced as the new face of Adidas

Adidas has officially announced that Unity’s maknae will be working as the new face of their brand. While Unity has been active in the industry for over three years, just recently has Ting started to make a name for himself away from his group. Ting made his solo debut with his single “Face” in September, and will be taking on the task of representing Adidas.
