Nixie had spent her whole life waiting for the day that she could make her family proud and continue on the pureblood Gaunt line. She never cared for love, she just wanted a pureblood husband and enough inheritance to continue her luxurious lifestyle. While she wasn’t the most pleasant person to be around, she certainly knew how to run a home. House elves ran most of the home, doing the chores, the cleaning, the errands Nixie didn’t want to run. Cooks kept the kitchen stocked and their bellies full. Nixie didn’t want to ruin her figure so of course there would only be 1 heir, but there’s no way she was going to risk not looking her best when her husband was rarely home. While being a Rosier wasn’t exactly Nixie’s first choice, a Black or a Lestrange would have been preferred, she made the best of her time with the home to herself, between her husband’ travelling for work and her son being at Hogwarts 10 months of the year, it left her a lot of time to continue exploring her options, and while she was sure her husband knew he had yet to say a word about it. I guess you could say that for Nixie, life could not have turned out better.
