“Me, Us, and Them”
Like a repainted canvas,
a work forever undone,
you paint yourself over and over
in an unconscious continuous rhythm.
Layer over layer of contrasting colors and shades of which all unearth a differing picture.
And as the orange palette of dusk injected onto the salty H2O,
you are infused
and molded
and given new dresses to wear.
(original poem by me 🙈)
