Was still soaking in God’s presence this morning and dreading having to leave the house when He reminded me again of the verse He had given me through so many people over the last two weeks leading up to #kingdomcityconf (which was really nothing less than #amazing), to just rest in Him #exodus3314 , and again i found it in #exodus. My Father knows my #poeticheart and He makes sure that the story He has for me to write has these #poetictwists in them; like how Moses exited Egypt, so am i exiting a lot of the things i have enslaved myself to. And the higher purpose for freeing me from #suffering, #oppression and #slavery is to establish that “I will take you as my own people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. And I will bring you to the land I swore with uplifted hand to give to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob. I will give it to you as a possession. I am the Lord.” #exodus6v7&8 (unashamedly claiming the promise at the end too). But He knows that I am tired, and so He tells me to draw strength from Him “The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.” #exodus152. I have to admit that I was having this conversation with Him in my heart asking how am i supposed to rest when i have so many things to think about when @charlesgener sends me a link to the song Forever by Elevation Worship. And in it was the answer i was looking for. He is the strength of my heart, i can empty myself before Him and He will fill me with Him, what He speaks I will see, I will see His glory.
