hi uh I've been struggling with my gender so I'll try to explain it, basically I feel way more into the masculine side but not really fully, like libramasculine or demiboy. but it gets complicated, like if I have a crush on someone, I'm willing to change which gender I identify as to be with them. ;-; it's really confusing, it feels like I identify as reflectigender but I don't really understand what that means.

reflectigender seems to be a form of relatiogender or expecgender. but could be an aerogender mayhaps. you could say you're gender-fluid or mutogender instead, to be more general/ample. :)

primusgender with miaspec/mingender could be a way to express you're primarily on the ma(sculine/le/n) gender spectrum.

Mirrorgender: a gender that changes to fit the people you’re around

Reflectigender: a gender that reflects that of the identifier’s romantic/platonic/social interest

Expecgender: a gender that changes depending on who you are around

Amicagender: a gender that changes depending on which friend you’re around

Copygender: a gender that mimics the gender of someone the identifier has strong feelings for

Hi, I’m still tryna figure out my gender, so I hope there’s a term for this: so basically, I’m always boyflux, but sometimes my gender changes to the person I’m with, but depending on the persons gender, it changes to either more masculine, softer, or fantasy-like. And if the gender is female, or turns feminine (so my gender can be feminine, but never female),, aaaaa I hope this made sense!! I’m not good at explaining qwq

you could be bigender, with one gender being boyflux and the other being one (or more, you could be tri/quint/quadgender/etc) of these:

(a lot of these genders are the same/have similar definitions, so i guess just choose which label you like the best)

Mutogender: A subset of genderfluid; describes when your gender changes depending on your situation.

Ludogender: A gender which has a core, but the individual “tries on” different genders because they are mirroring another individual. A neurodivergent only gender.

Mirrorgender: A gender that changes to fit the people you’re around.

Expecgender / Pivotgender / Swivelgender: A gender which changes depending on who you are around.

Evaisgender / Evainsgender / Locugender: A fluid gender that’s easily influenced by things, thoughts and beings around it, thus it tends to change a lot, even within a single day.

Amorgender / Erogender (or Filkogender, when regarding QPRs): When your gender changes whilst in the presence of an individual to whom you have developed a deep connection for. This could be a romantic attraction, platonic connection, a spiritual affinity or anything similar. For example: An amorboy would identify as male only to someone they felt connected too.

Amicagender: A gender that changes depending on which friend you’re with at the moment.

Aerogender: Where an individual’s gender relies highly on their setting and/or atmosphere, which can be composed of a great number of things (ex. who they’re around, their level of comfort, the temperature, the weather, the time of day/year, etc.) .

Absorgender / Absorbgender: A gender identity that is heavily influenced by the people around someone. For example, an absorgender person would feel more feminine when surrounded by women, or more masculine when surrounded by men. If a particular gender has a stronger influence on a person’s identity, they may choose to use this identity as a prefix (absorboy, absornonbinary, etc).

or, you could be boyflux, with your gender fluctuating from boy to one (or more) of those genders.

So I'm confused about my gender. I'm ok with being called a girl and having a girl body, but sometimes is someone I don't know or am not close too uses she/her or I see something where it says I'm female, my heart sinks. But if my family uses she/her and say I'm female, I feel fine. So I'm not sure what that means :-/

well, let me tell you, this is not an uncommon thing! i have experienced this somewhat

when someone misconstrued me for male or male-aligned i felt pleased, but when they thought i was female or female-aligned i felt a stone in my stomach. when close friends/family see me as male-aligned i feel the need to correct them.

its more about how that person understands your gender/gender identity and are they more likely to respect it/understand it or not know at all/reject it.

if you are concerned you are not female/not entirely female, please look these over, see if they match how you feel;

Expecgender – A gender which changes depending on who you are around. Also known as pivotgender.

Mirrorgender – A gender that changes to fit the people you’re around.

Mutogender – A gender which is fluid and changes depending on one’s situation.

Pivotgender– Someone whose gender changes depending on who they are around. Note: Not to be confused with mutogender, which goes for people and situations.

Perospike – Being usually content with your gender, but occasionally strongly wanting to be another one.

Xirl – Someone who identifies in some way as a nonbinary girl or nonbinary girl-adjacent. Someone who identifies with some part of woman/girlhood but who wants a more nonbinary and neutral sounding word because they aren’t entirely girls or don’t want to be associated with the typical ideas brought up by the word “girl.”
