It’s been a while.

So it’s been a long time since I’ve been active, what can I say things have been a bit nuts recently. Finally I’m coming close to the start line, I’ve waited my entire life to go and dedicate myself to the people. I’ve worked hard, I’ve studied hard, working towards the start line. Travelling and sharing, I’ve managed to line my eggs up so that I can actually bring something to the table and have a strong future when i eventually come home. I’ve given work my notice for next June, 8 months sounds like a long time but compared to the 4 years I’ve spent growing and developing for it, it seems almost like the blink of an eye. My ‘Pilgrimage of Poverty’ as I like to call it, a spiritual journey spanning this globe to see what this world has to offer, the cultures and heritage of the people and most importantly to go where most wont go to help those who need help the most. After 15 years of depression and anxiety I hope I’m finally able to start walking my life like the man I dreamed of being as a child. To know deep down that everyday I will be striving towards bringing love and compassion in to the darkness, and the experience to know it’s the only cure for my soul. Ha I’m sat here, eye’s welling up at the thought that in 8 months time, I will finally be giving myself to this planet. And I will know in my heart that though my parents and friends will miss me, now finally they will be able to be proud of the man I am. Sorry for rambling but I just needed to say it somewhere, to openly show how damaged and scared I am. But in the words of Mahatma Gandhi “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” and  “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”
