Reminder to myself that you don't have to perform feats of technical skill in your projects to improve in a craft. There are uncountable ways to create and no endpoint or finish line that everyone has to reach. Just one project after another, and if you don't vibe with complicated patterns you don't have to choose that path. Even the simplest of combinations can make something beautiful if you allow it to.

not really liking this freelance project. i need to talk to the client directly but everything is being filtered through this agency who don’t really care about design. no one can tell me anything useful so it’s me making up designs and being told they don’t want/like something. just give me all the copy and images so i don’t design with random placeholders. i really need to figure out a way to explain why it makes no sense to have multiple charts on the homepage.

I AM SO FUCKING PISSED OFF RIGHT NOW!!!! I HAD A JOB INTERVIEW TODAY AND WENT THROUGH THE ENTIRE PROCESS TO BE TOLD THAT MY WORK EXPERIENCE DOESN'T COUNT BECAUSE IT WAS AN INTERNSHIP AND I WASN'T PAID DURING IT!!!! SO NEEDLESS TO SAY I DIDN'T GET A JOB!!!
