Zoanthropy VS Endel

Soooooo more rambling...

But- I wanted to talk about being a zoanthropist and an endel, and why i'm just using endel right now.

Zoanthopy is a sister word of lycanthropy. It's basically when a human can turn into a beast. Like a werewolf but more for everything.

Clinical Zoanthropy, which is what I had (more on that in a bit) is when one believes that they are or can turn into an animal AND it's a delusion.

No matter what anyone tells me, I will not believe I am human. Period.

And... I'm not sure if I count anymore.

Again, I am a shapeshifter. Something that CAN turn into whatever I want. I can be an animal or a devil or an alien or ect ect ect. So I guess Zoanthropy COULD work... But it just doesn't feel right when there's more that I am or can be.

Endel is the umbrella term of that. Basically, it encapsulates all alterhuman experiences that has to do with delusions. And I feel like giving myself an umbrella rather than sticking myself in a box that doesn't fit me is much better for everyone involved.

TBH, I don't really think of myself as having delusions. That's just a label that was stuck onto me and I've carried it to find others like me or to explain my experiences more.

Don't really care if you think I'm weird. Too bad for you I guess.
