As a refugee from the bird site several months ago, it took me a bit to get used to tumblr. So with the layout mimicking the bird site now, it really threw me. Honestly, it is an expert bit of trolling. I don't think it should be permanent, but for a short-term gag, it is a masterful jab at the muskrat and his futile attempts to prevent competition.
