Hey everyone! This is the second part of a series I am working on with @yahoo-protection-squad !

Description: Levine needed power. He needed to absorb it. Take it from those weaker than him. He must break them all…

      Levine was in heaven. Never had he seen so many powerful entities in one space and they all seemed to love this Jameson, or whatever his name was. One person of interest was a good friend of Jameson, Robbie, if he remembered correctly. He didn’t speak much English and was very slow in his speech but his soul was strong and it seemed like the only way to truly end him would be fire. He was an undead, a rare enemy for Levine. 

“JJ!” The zombie greeted him. Jameson had agreed to go on a nature walk with him and Angus. They were going to Angus’s pocket of reality. A small  forest, littered with walking trails.

“Now, mates, walking around here you need to be careful, this time of year the leaves are very dry, making them a perfect target for forest fires. So try to avoid lighting anything, if you can.” Angus smiled, leading them down his favorite path. He rambled on about the different kinds of birds inhabiting the area. Robbie giggled and pointed out his favorite birds to Jameson, who smiled and nodded excitedly. Levine had to admit, it was a decent forest. He could feel the pure soul that Angus was and he was practically itching for the perfect moment to strike.

      As they were exploring Robbie saw a very brightly colored humming bird. He made a noise of excitement and went off the path, running after it. Angus jogged after him, Jameson following in suit. As the caught up to the zombie, Jameson discreetly snapped his fingers, producing a flame. He then placed the flame beside the trunk of the tall tree, a quiet fire beginning to spread, quickly.

      It took 4 minutes for Angus to notice the fire. It took 2 minutes after that for branches to start falling left and right. It took 3 minutes after that, when the running boys were surrounded in fire, for Levine to finally act. He grabbed Angus by the neck, shoving him into the fire, ignoring his kicking and screaming. Robbie suffered the same fate soon after. Levine snapped his fingers once more, the forest returning to it’s serene state, before absorbing the two pure souls. Suddenly his body felt harder to control, his thoughts felt numb. He glanced at his hand, withered and decayed. He had succeeded, yet he had failed.

      He needed someone more powerful. He needed to work his way up faster. He needed someone worth getting rid of. Then it hit him! Chase! Chase led to Bing which led to Google which led to Dark himself! This time he straight up laughed. No giggle or chuckle, a full body laugh. This plan was so simple. He was shaking in excitement as the familiar crack could be heard upon his return to the manor.
