Happy 65th Birthday to the amazing Kira Roessler, bassist for the influential hardcore punk band Black Flag from 1983 to 1985, member of the rock duo Dos with her ex-husband Mike Watt, born on this day in 1961, New Haven
This is a solid film and I highly recommend seeing it in the theater. I just realized the significance of the yellow walls, I am pretty sure
Saw this last night at the cinema and would recommend it. See review for my full opinion.

Hannipenguin Explained
Dear Fannibals,
I apologise for not posting up a proper Hannipenguin Origins story before this. I had meant to put it as a FAQ on the blog but i kept getting distracted (mostly by Hugh Dancy pictures).
So the story goes like this. It all started with this post http://byk23.tumblr.com/post/133385575722/will-and-hannibal-are-penguins. The idea of Hannibal being a penguin was so wonderful to me that i drew the first Hannipenguin comic as a crack
The Cannimal sanctuary grew from there and has now taken over my blog. Thanks to everyone’s wonderful ideas and support, the Cannimals and its AU (Cuddle Husbands) have life of its own.
So why a penguin? There is no real explanation. Maybe it’s the suits. But i like the answer that Hannipenguin gave me when i asked him. He just shrugged his little flippers and said in his little penguin voice “Nothing happened. I happened”.

Where do I start? This film shows the potential of the horror genre to take on real life issues without grandstanding while remaining an eff
Just saw the interview where Curry Barker explained that it's totally possible to get a normal wish from the One Wish Willow, and I love the way they did that so much. The reason Obsession happened isn't because it's trying to twist Bear's desires into something evil. It's not even because he phrased his want wrong. Obsession happened because Bear got his hands on a magic item that could do anything in existence, and chose to force someone to fall in love with him, which is an inherently evil thing to do.
Co-presented by the Film Noir Foundation, hosted by Eddie Muller and featuring an an opening night musical performance by Elizabeth Bougerol
We are in New York, baby!
