Koi in the Rainbow River (August 2016)

The river was made with “exploding paint” (M&M containers filled with tempera paint and alka seltzer tablets) on watercolor paper. The koi fish was drawn with colored pencils on cardstock.

So I was re watching Spark of Rebellion when I realized something in the scene where they are rescuing Ezra. Sabine lays down her explosive paint right? Kallus is like what's this and gets in on his hand to figure out what it is. He figures out that the paint is explosive and yells at his men to take cover, right before it explodes. Question if it is the paint that explodes, doesn't he still have paint on his finger tips? Shouldn't at the very least have lost a few fingers if not a hand if not an arm or anything else?

I'm supposed to be working on my essay, since I've given myself a time limit (until 10:30 PM then it's time for sleep). But I got a little.....sidetracked and decided to watch paint explode.
