Explodo Week 2018 Day Two
Prompt for today: Love/Instinct
I’ve been dying to do a beach scenario and I love me some protective nice Bakugou so lets gO! This is going to be a BakugouxReader story, hope you all enjoy! (Barely no nsfw, just a few booty touches cause Bakugo is a booty man after all ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Noon struck the bright Japanese shores as the students of Class 1A enjoyed their time at the beach.
It was Kaminari’s idea to head to the beach since the students were melting in the dorms over summer and the pool was shut down on weekends. Mostly everyone was down with his idea, except for the class’s hothead, Katsuki Bakugou. Luckily since he loved you so much, you managed to drag him out here.
Your class was annoyed that Mr. Aizawa said Class 1B had to join along, but Itsuka did promise she would keep Monoma under control at least.
“It’s so fucking hot, we would be much cooler if we were in the dorms.” Bakugou hissed as he sat under the umbrella like a hermit while his friends applied sunscreen.
“That’s why we go in the water grumpy pants.” You said softly rubbing the smooth lotion on your (s/c) arms.
Your boyfriend scoffed at you, putting his shades on while he looked to the young kids playing in the water, “As if I’m going in that cold ass water.”
“Oh come on Bakugou, we were gonna have chicken fights!” Kirishima said, his friends whining to him before he finally growled, folding his arms stubbornly.
“Fuck off.”
Looking to your boyfriend you allowed your lip to slowly fold into a pout, only for Bakugou to ignore you with a scowl.
“Can you at least put some sunscreen on my back side so I can join them in the water?” You asked, the ash blond looked up to you from his chair as if you just asked him to do your homework for a month, but reluctantly he stood up.
You flinched a bit when the cold sunscreen was rubbed against your back, even with his rough hands he made sure to be gentle in rubbing the lotion lazily across your back.
“You’re coming in right (s/o)?” Momo called, you nodded as you waved them on with a smile.
“I’ll be right there once Katsuki finishes putting on my sunscreen.” You responded warmly while you held your (h/c) hair up with your free arm so it wouldn’t get in the way of Bakugou’s work.
Glancing over you saw a few boys standing by the coolers, all three staring at you and Bakugou.
“Are you guys not going in?” You asked with a raised brow, only for them to respond with snickers, shaking their heads.
“Nah we’re good, just enjoying the view.”
You tilted your head to the side a bit confused before you shrugged, thinking they just didn’t like to go in the water or something. Meanwhile Bakugou raised an eyebrow, he knew these boys weren’t the type to ‘sit and watch the view.’ Tilting his head to the side he saw there eyes were far from the tranquil beach water, instead they were looking at your ass.
His ass.
Letting out a growl Bakugou poured some more sunscreen on his hand before slapping your butt causing you to yelp and jump in shock. Whipping your head around you looked up to the ash blond that was know kneading his hands along your cheeks.
“Katsuki, what was that for?” You whispered, a slight blush creeping along your cheeks as he rubbed the lotion more throughly than he needed to.
“Shut the hell up, I’m done.” Bakugou hissed, closing the cap to the sunscreen before glaring back to the two boys, shooting them a look of warning.
“T..Thanks babe, sure you don’t wanna go in the water?” You asked, still confused at his sudden show of affection. When he shook his head and put his shades back on you shrugged, walking into the cool water to meet your friends.
“Cool you’re here (s/o)! We are doing chicken fights, you just need someone to get on.” Kirishima said with a grin, the girls of your class already on top of most of the guys’ shoulders.
Looking around you frowned seeing most people were already taken, if only your boyfriend would just come in the stupid water, “I’ll just wait till the next round.”
“I gotcha covered (s/o).” A cool voice spoke, your turned over to see Monoma with a smirk on his features. While he wasn’t your favorite person in the world since he made Bakugou feel terrible at the Sports Festival, there was nobody left to carry you and he was fairly nice to you.
“Well.. sure why not.” You said with a smile, letting him bend down and lift you up onto his shoulders.
All the boys got in a circle, everyone narrowing there eyes and getting in the zone as they looked to their opponents, “Alright, it’s every group for themselves. No quirks allowed, ready?”
Everyone nodded once they heard Iida explain the rules, once the stern boy shouted go you shoved your way through. These games were commonly played in your family, especially since you had so many cousins to play with so needless to say, you were pretty much a champ at this. Your competitive nature made it all the better.
“C’mon Uraraka don’t let (s/o) get you down!” Sero cried, barely keeping his grip on her as your arms battled for dominance over your friend. Even with her innocent looks she was surprisingly strong, her internship no doubt helping her.
“I..I’m trying..!” Uraraka muttered, her arms beginning to shake as you smirked giving one last final shove until she was knocked back along with Sero into the water.
“Yeah! We did it!” You shouted victoriously, arms raised in the air until Todoroki and Momo came from behind you and shoved you and Monoma forward into the water.
Immediately you shot up from the water, brushing your wet locks out of the way to see Momo with a grin looking down on you, “You kept your guard down (s/o)!”
You narrowed your eyes to her playfully with a grin before you looked to Monoma and bursted into laughter with him, your fall being rather ungraceful.
A certain ash blond took notice of your laughing filling the air, that adorable sound that made his chest grow a little warmer. Looking up from his phone he looked to see what had you in a giggling fit only to see Monoma’s arms around you as you leaned onto him from laughter, all your classmates chuckling.
Bakugou’s teeth grit at the sight of Monoma not only holding you, his girlfriend, in his arms but also the smirk that was on the blond’s features as he looked directly at Bakugou. Not only did he make you laugh but he dared lay a finger on you?
Letting out a growl the ash blond shot up from his shaded spot, storming into the water with his hands fuming with smoke, “I’m fucking playing this round.”
“Yay Bakugou-kun is playing!” Mina shouted with a smile, everyone getting back on their partners shoulders. You were in the process of letting Monoma pick you up until a pair of rough arms snatched you from him causing you to yelp.
“(S/o) is my partner, get your own copy ass.” Bakugou hissed to the scowling blond as he forced you on his shoulders without second thought.
Monoma hissed to your boyfriend, still wanting to grind his gears even further, “Fine! Itsuka you’re with me now.”
You stared blankly to the two boys, oblivious to the rivalry that was happening before running your fingers through your boyfriend’s soft hair, “Are you alright Katsuki? You seem tense.”
The ash blond only clicked his tongue, keeping firm hands on your thighs while Iida re-explained the rules, “I’m fine, now let’s win this damn thing.”
A grin flashed across your features at your boyfriend’s words, both of you having an unstoppable tenacity to win.
“Ready, set, go!”
Right off the bat you and Bakugou charged for Jirou and Kaminari, already seeing how they weren’t ready.
“Wait wait wait, we aren’t ready-aH!” Jirou shouted as your shoulder slammed into her chest knocking a cursing Kaminari and Jirou back into the water.
“Yes! Next victim.” You said with a grin, Bakugou chuckling to your competitive demeanor before running to another distracted group.
Taking down two other teams you both went at it until only one team was left standing, Monoma and Itsuka.
“We got this Katsuki, hold onto me tight.” You said, arms in a readied stance before the two blond’s charged to each other, both you and Itsuka colliding into each other.
Letting out a grunt your hands clasped with Itsuka’s, her grip painfully strong most likely due to her quirk, but she played fair and didn’t use it.
“H..Holy crap you’re strong.” You gasped, your arms twitching as the two of you shoved against each other.
Bakugou hated seeing the smirk on Monoma’s face as he watched his girlfriend struggling to stay up, “C’mon (s/o), fuck this girl up!”
All of the students swam around you guys, keeping a safe distance but close enough to shout cheers for who they wanted to win.
“C’mon (s/o) you got this!” Mina and Uraraka cried, all of the boys shouting for you to stay strong.
“Don’t let Class 1B down Itsuka!” Tetsu screamed, causing Kirishima to shout the same thing louder but with your name, both going into a screaming fest.
For a second you felt your arms falter, but your stubbornness refused to back down, especially in front of all your classmates. When you felt the sweat begin to form in your palms you grinned seeing Itsuka start to pant in exhaustion, her hands sliding across yours. With one strong shove with your shoulder you were able to get Monoma off his balance before both of then tumbled back into the cool water.
“Yeah (s/o) and Bakugou!” Your class cheered, splashing around as Class 1B walked back to shore defeated.
Bakugou felt your tired thighs shake around his shoulders, letting you slide off his back and into the water before you latched on to his chest, “We did it Katsuki! We really do make an unstoppable team.”
Bakugou couldn’t help but smile at the excited look on your face, holding you close against him while he noticed Monoma scowling at the two of you. The ash blond narrowed his crimson eyes, kissing your cheek while never breaking eye contact with the blond as he smirked to him.
“Yeah I guess we do make a damn good team.”
