Saskia wasn't sure how Quinni felt about Valentines Day, but since everyone else was doing something for it, it seemed, she figured she would too. Following a YouTube tutorial, she made heart shaped cookies and covered them in pink, red and white icing. While they weren't perfect, they were homemade.

Bringing the small tupperbox of cookies and a card into school, she sat at one of the lunch tables and waited for Quinni to arrive, her leg bobbing up and down from nerves.

That day he's at Quinni's place for the first time; Showing him her pet frog since he said he's never actually seen one in person. Though he's not agreed to hold it, he does let her show it to him in its habitat. "Ohh.. It's actually kind of.. cute?" His head quirks curiously "How long have you had them?" He looks back, blinking in question as he waits.

Though his attention seems to quickly be diverted by the sight of a wig in her room. Again, he looks back to her "Do you cosplay?" He couldn't help but to ask, curious because it's one of his special interests. Alaire is still interested in the previous subject still, of course.

some days are busier than others, at the café. there are pros and cons either way. Ren sort of likes the busy days, if only because the absolute relief she feels after a huge rush is near euphoric.

so she's a bit delirious when @exquisitebutterfly comes in, twirling something in her hands. a flower, evidently, as Quinni slides it into Ren's hair when she comes up to the counter.

she beams at the other, one hand lifting to gently brush over the soft petals. ❝ you're officially my favourite person today. ❞

CARING FOR THE SICK PROMPTS.

Being sick is always Nanami's worst nightmare. All this energy trapped in this body with no way to get it out? Yeah, it's the absolute worst and Quinni seems to have come over to check on him since his moms are away on their anniversary vacation. And yeah, he's kind of been an absolute nightmare the whole time she's been here. He feels bad - he's not trying to be.

"Fiiiiine." He's pouting, arms crossed as he shuffles back into his room. Yes, he knows he's being over dramatic. No, he's not actually upset. It's just how he always - always extremely animated; Almost like a cartoon character, really.

Nanami flops onto his bed with a whine. "Man, being sick fuckin suuuucks." He wants to get up, move around - do something, but no, he has to rest and Quinni's right, he needs to quit being so stubborn and just stay in bed. Especially since his fever finally managed to go down barely an hour ago.

Saskia wiped away her tears with the back of her hand, slowly nodding her head. She wasn't upset, more just overwhelmed and crying apparently was the best way to deal with it; after years of thinking she was incapable of crying, it felt alien to be crying all the time.

"It's okay, I love you too. I'm sorry for causing a scene," she muttered, reaching out to take Quinni's hand and give it a gentle squeeze.
